  • Where was this at? What beach?

  • @ButterFlyKey422 That's not really a beach, its near my folks place, you have to kayak or boat out to it, it's in Marathon , actually Grassy Key, it's just an island that we always like to go out to , very quiet, no one around, nice....

  • i hope i see a shark im flying to florida march 6th

  • @RaScAlDuDe65 as long as you go out kayaking or snorkling or even walking out way out into the shallow waters either before high tide or during ....you will certainly see one...and it all depends where in florida you are going...in the keys..for sure..in the mainland, depends....good luck...!!♥

  • How to spot nurse shark

  • thats no nurse shark it a lemon shark if it were a nurse the dorsal fins would be more rounded, closer together and yellowish- milk chocolate brownish but lemons are still pritty dosile

  • @supramen93 she looks so similar to a nurse shark....I said to sweety...um....she looks a bit different??? Even her fins are different...she was still very very friendly and did not care too much about us...or my hubby under the water with her...until her baby came along and then the barracuda....then it was well...hmm...think its time to get back into the kayaks...lol...she was pretty cool...

  • ive been cage diving (with great whites) and open water diving with sharks so now i'm not to afraid of these

ps im pretty sure crapping your pants is an exelent shark repelent. =)

  • @Jjkuldude would love to Cage Dive.....the more time I spend in the keys the more I want to get to know these amazing beautiful creatures....you must just love it!!!!

  • Nurse Shark or not.... I woulda crapped my pants. Ya just can't trust ANY shark...

  • @caribe404 lol

  • I live here in the Florida Keys and it's definitely great to see sharks! They are very beautiful fish. We have lots of manatees and hammerheads in my canal now. :)

  • @Pinkpandaterritory manatees yes, but hammerheads? really? what MM are you at...would love to stop by next time we are by,maybe take the kayaks over nearby perhaps...Marathon is where we are

  • I live on Ramrod Key. MM 27 and seeing the sharks ate definitely scary. But, I see a lot of hammerheads and manatees in my canal. :) Good Vid.

  • @Pinkpandaterritory I had one experience with a manatee...scared the crap outta me until I knew what it was...up the canal while I was out walkin alone, heard this "pooooffff" sound...turned to look once I got my footing back haha...there she was, what a beauty....they just love fresh water and lettus....sweet creatures

  • @nieces1965 oh and we are in Marathon...

  • During the summer, especially August, it's the jellyfish you have to worry about in the Florida Keys. The most common ones are pretty mild, but still unpleasant. :P

  • @ArianaLovesWho I agree...manowar....lovely, beautiful creatures....but man they can be nasty..

  • thats the keys for ya babyy<3!

  • I Live In Marathon, Fl. And My Name Is Soraya, Barley Any Of Those Sharks Out There Hurt You.

  • Nurse sharks are the nicest sharks, why were you scared? They're not going to hurt you at all.

  • @Guitarplayer219 , oh we weren't scared at all, more excited than anything...have had many encounters with nurse sharks...very gentle creatures...

  • @nieces1965 Yeah, caught so many while going for tarpon, cute big fellows aren't they.

  • I have to say I woulda crapped mah pants if that shark swam toward me :O

  • @manjunk427 Lol.....we had those kayaks pretty close to us hahaha

  • Nice video. For all y'll touristas- note the depth of water that sharky shark was in. Watch them chilluns in the water.

  • @kayak43456 Thanks!!! The tide is just coming in at this point...but doesnt get much deeper at high tide, and they are everywhere, every shape and size....lookin for lunch lol

  • Love it. Great video. Your right about the keys, no place like it. I've always love the nurse sharks. Great diminstration on how docile they are. I hate the bull sharks though, thats one unpredictable shark.

  • I would be abosolutely BRICKING it! Crazy yank bloody well flee next time mate!

  • @Arostyle380 lol....not a Yank, Canadian here haha...and its just a nurse shark...they don't bite....beautiful creature and harmless , as long as you stay still lol......

  • @nieces1965 Are sorry, my bad, I thought that because it was in Flordia I made the assumption you were an American

  • OMG that's so brave wow!!!(great audio)

  • @hemnetjer thanks!!! Love the Florida Keys! Not worried about the nurse sharks, its the Barracuda ya gotta worry about, saw about a 5 ft one just after we took this video, needless to say, into the kayaks we went! And quickly lol
