It all depends on your tv u use.Usually the 1080i mode looks much cleaner, detailed and softer in still image, 720p looks better in motion, but as killzone 2 is a slow paced game, it doesnt make that much difference there so i go rather 1080i.
actually, its not better if it has a native resolution of 1080i get your facts right. its not upscaling. higher native res is much better. it runs it in 1600x1080i much higher res than 1280x720 :P i play it on both, because sometimes i get too lazy to change it back. haha
they couldn't do the full 1080 res, so they had to sacrifice a little bit. if you have the right tv, the game actually looks better on 1080i, because its a higher native res, than its 720p counter part. lots of "native 1080" games are 1600x1080 sounds kinda lame, but its true 1080, but its more optimized. word has it they're pushing 60 fps on killzone 2. lets hope that's true!

1080i is the lowest quality HD...720p and 1080p are both better.

@doublio7 Does it have 1600 pixels on 1080 vertical lines? I always thought it was 1920*1080i.
