  • The NFL does not use the 4-4 defense or the 5-2 or 3-3-5

  • No offense but the stunt to the right with the DE and LB are pretty readable. Cuz the DE is lined up inside of the OG which gives off the stunt . As for the C gap being open, if the right DE were to bump that TE into C gap as he heads in, it wouldn't be a problem. I agree with the OLB being there for the kill and if the tight end is going out for a pass, his pattern is delayed just by the DE bumping him. Either way, that TE is probably covered by one of the backs.

  • Yup Sleezyb, that DE has to Be in a 7 which is inside of the TE and run right off the hip of the OT, if the TE seals the DE you have an OLB standing right there to make the play! thats what makes the 4-4 so good you just can't get that conner!

  • Playmaker I agree...the RE...is too wide in the 4-4...may a 4-3 look where you dont have the LB curtain but the RE doesnt have to be the last man on the line...That C GAP is wide open and it forces the LB to stretch over to the gap during the play. Then you can run the ball at the direction each LB is moved from to help out the C gap.

  • Not a Good Play if they send both, backers they will just run off the right tackle for a TD the DE needs to go inside the TE to Force follow to the Rovers ...watch it again!!! all the right side has to do is block down...

  • Seriously? Try to get a good jump on the ball? That's 'expert advice'? Any pop warner player could figure that out. And you two chumps are seriously thanking him for that?

  • thanks for the help :D
