@suddenlyitsobvious You have bigger problems than Djokovic screaming like a maniac. It seems like you real problem is that he is Serbian. You are racist, nationalist and you live in wrong century paps. You are so boxed I'm actually feeling bad for you.
Thank you lad, that's very kind of you but perhaps unnecessary and do cheer up and really, don't be so bitchy, even if you don't have arguments and feel like a complete fool. You just can't win 'em all and sometimes you just have to admit you're wrong, at least to yourself.
I find it interesting how you project EVERYTHING. You've provided me with a complete psychological profile.
"Are you really suggesting we can't assess someone's personality unless we're very familiar with his native culture?". No, what I am saying is that your idea what's good/bad personality is fabricated by a social norm of your culture (environment you live in). Different cultures different values. Yes he screams! Like a maniac? Maybe to your standards. In my opinion your personality is ugly, but hey who am I to judge. That being said, yes, you should educate about cultural differences.
I'm sorry but you are simply spinning, stating nothing clearly and whining again to someone who CERTAINLY knows more languages and cultures than you do. Your post was not worth opening, son.
Nodjok has a personality and a way of being that tennis fans can recognize and assess, just like they would assess the personality of Murray, Nadal, Soderling or Vaidisova. To suggest there's a cultural problem here is just a pathetic excuse.
@suddenlyitsobvious In place of being delusional take some time and look at the stats; they don't lie and unlike you they are not subjective. Nadal vs Federer is 17 to 8. Coincidence? I don't think so.
'In place of being delusional take some time and look at the stats; they don't lie and unlike you they are not subjective. Nadal vs Federer is 17 to 8. Coincidence? I don't think so.'
We don't care what you think since you've already shown how utterly biased and unsportsmanlike you are. All your remarks are worthless and stats can be used to make perhaps not ANY point, but MANY points.
Fact is, Nadal stayed behind Fed for 160 weeks. That Fed after YEARS of being on top...
@suddenlyitsobvious "We don't care what you think since you've already shown how utterly biased and unsportsmanlike you are. All your remarks are worthless and stats can be used to make perhaps not ANY point, but MANY points.
IQ test should be mandatory before giving allowance to post/reply!!! Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscious stupidity. You are obviously mentally mutilated beyond any hope of regeneration. You just decided to ignore facts.

...and slowly edging towards his thirties recently started losing his N°1 position to Nadal for a few periods, and is progressively becoming less dominant is normal, because it can't be expected of anyone to keep at his level FOREVER. Since he's already won everything for years on end, OF COURSE the guys behind him would eventually catch up with him.
Your Nadal-Fed stat means nothing, which is probably why you didn't formulate what it meant.
@suddenlyitsobvious And again 'Face it: Fed's winning was natural when it occurred and he was used to it.'
Dear mother of god what a sentence, what an argument .... Yeah Novak wins were supernatural, some kind of alien thing :)... Are you realy 41 years old? Hehehehe :D
@suddenlyitsobvious "Are you really suggesting we can't assess someone's personality unless we're very familiar with his native culture?". No, I am saying that your idea of what's good/bad personality is fabricated by a social norm from your culture. Different cultures different values. Yes he screams! Like a maniac? Maybe to your standards. In my opinion your personality is ugly, but hey who am I to judge. That being said, yes, you should educate about cultural differences, or travel a bit.
@suddenlyitsobvious "There ARE NO people whining about how great Connors and Borg were compared to Fed, so your remark is meaningless." Now you are just being silly and once again ignorant. Just because you don't know it it doesn't make it untrue. I know at least handful of people at work. Including my boss.
"This is just A TYPICAL statement from a Djoko-fan: they all hate Fed and need to downplay him constantly."
By the way I'm a Nadal's fan. But unlike you I don't hate his rivals.
"Fact is, Nadal stayed behind Fed for 160 weeks. That Fed after YEARS of being on top."
So? Did you expect for him to become No.1 when he was 18? When Nadal matured enough Fed was pretty much done. 17:8 clearly shows that. Not to mention that Fed would never have won French open if Nadal wasn't injured. Ironically when Fed was ask at the press conference if he was a bit lucky that Nadal was out early , he said not at all.Talking about personality and arrogance ... heh.
@suddenlyitsobvious And by the way, let me make this crystal clear before you make any stupid assumptions again! I DO NOT hate Federer. I really like his game and enjoy watching him. I think he is ONE of the greatest players ever to play tennis.
Dolgopolov really has an axe like slice with some sidespin thrown in. With it he elicits an impatient or weaker return then unleashes his flat 2 handed backhand. Great stuff. Hope he doesn't do a Gulbis with all that talent.
...to see some REAL tennis virtuosity make it to the top again and put an end to this unfortunate dominance of Djoko that can't possibly last too long.
Dolgo is pretty much of Fed's caliber in terms of talent, he's only 22 and Fed started winning the big ones at 23.
I'd say he'd make a great number one if he finds in it himself...
I find there's a number of players who are way more talented than Djoko, but simply haven't got the same kind of motivation and aren't willing to sacrifice quite as much; indeed, Djoko seems OBSESSED with winning and his reactions after important wins are bordering on something quite unhealthy.
Seems only serbian nationalists really enjoy Djoko's wins and it's all about 'winning', 'national pride' and soforth.
In all honesty, Djoko's game is simply boring and it would be nice...
@suddenlyitsobvious Yeah Djokovic doesn't have the real talent. He is just a youngest player in history to win the Masters 1000 event. And with some other records ... no talent at all!?!?!
Sure its all about his obsession and nationality... I usually don't comment youtube videos but youre comment is a rasist one and should be banned. Novak game is borring ? Sure nadal have more more interesting one :) or Murray. Fed not obsessed with wining ??? Yeah right ... he won everythign and still plays..
Who says he has no talent at all? Sure, he's very talented. I'm just saying that his tennis is hardly 'genius-like' like Fed's could be or a number of other guys, including Safin, Nalbandian, Simon in his great moments and indeed Dolgopolov.
Fed is hardly as barbarically ungraceful about his wins as Djoko. Face it: Fed's winning was natural when it occurred and he was used to it. Djoko screams his eyes out every time he wins, and there's clearly a very big difference in...
@suddenlyitsobvious 'Fed is hardly as barbarically ungraceful about his wins as Djoko. Face it: Fed's winning was natural when it occurred and he was used to it. Djoko screams his eyes out every time he wins, and there's clearly a very big difference in...'
Nice arguments you got there .... Nothing else to say to you.... it's just pointless to have a normal discussion with u.
Have a nice Fed cheering :) ... it's just unfortunate for him to play with Tsonga again :D....
...degree, Djoko's winning attitude being close to something freaky. In fact, it's completely egomaniacal and though I realize many tennis players have an urge to win and feel they're worth something only through ACHIEVING, Djoko and his camp have obviously taken it to a new level.
I find it DISTASTEFUL to watch Djoko's constant obsession with winning.
YES, his tennis is boring. Murray's tennis is very good but Murray can never switch to instinctual tennis when it counts...
@suddenlyitsobvious Your comments are utterly subjective. First, you need to educate yourself on cultural differences. If you don't like the way someone express their emotions that DOESN'T effectively make it bad. That is just your personal view and norm of how one should act . Second, you have to realize that tennis is evolving and what you find "genius-like", people twice your age find DISTASTEFUL. They'd tell you that no one will ever play "genius-like" tennis like Connors and Borg did.
@suddenlyitsobvious ... "He is only 22 and Federer started winning big ones at 23". Sorry to burst your bubble, but Djokovic just turned 24 and won first slam when he was 21. Nadal is only 25 and already have 10 slams under his belt. Bottom line, I give Nadal way more credit for his 10 slams then Federer's 16, having to battle some really good players for those 10 slams. I think Federer was a bit lucky to come on the scene when there was a few years gap with no good players.
'First, you need to educate yourself on cultural differences'
Pfft, what an insipid remark. Are you really suggesting we can't assess someone's personality unless we're very familiar with his native culture?
It is NOT being 'subjective' or my 'personal view' to state that Djoko screams his head off like a maniac when he wins, even if YOU don't like my pointing out this FACTUAL REALITY.
Your 'generation-gap' comment is equally insipid and untrue.
...which I severely doubt, there'll probably be just a few slams for him, he'll never have the utter grace, harmony and genius Fed's tennis was infused with. That you need to downplay Fed's tennis simply means you've got no eye for tennis, and are apparently watching the sport with the vulgar mindset of a footballclub fan.
To be frank, I'd be surprised if you're not Serbian, which are the only kind of people I'm seeing mindlessly supporting Djoko and always bashing Fed.

He's obviously extremely talented and it seems he's got so much of it that he essentially still needs to polish and finetune it and gain control over his impetuosity, which is what he is doing.
