  • It's not so inexpensive anymore, and I wouldn't say "run down." It's a vibrant, thriving neighborhood.

  • The East Village is zero vacancy and ZERO VIBRANCY!!!!!

People used to live there because they needed a place to live. Now it's all phony hippies.

  • SEEDY IN THE '80 ???...maybe so, but I rather that then now....bunch of boring non -artist yuppies these days....safe, Secure, normal, conformist......BORING!!

  • i swear i know this guy emiliano from another video it shows him drunk at the train and the filmers who are making fun of him all the time.

  • lol an Italian "skit skat" .......only in New York!

  • this loser needs to make some use of himself and get a real job

  • 3.08. In that bar, Bob Dylan once played. The whole charm of it , though, is at night, when I guess you wouldn't get good footage. Thanks, anyway, though.

  • I liked the East Village back in the 80's. The music was better. Wish I'd videotaped the way things had been.

  • The only time to go to McSorleys is around noon. You have the whole place to youself to explore the cool stuff. From 6pm on its a madhouse. I love their beer but the two glasses tradition is dumb. and it's not Thompson Square park, it's Tomkins.

  • @tomthefunky Actually, it's Tompkins, but you were close :)

  • EMILIANO! THATS MY NAME!

  • This was a good video. I'm thinking of moving to the East Village or how it was known back in the day "The EVil". It's pretty upscale now.
