All the people talking about The End in MGS 3 you dont need to fight him to kill him there are two options:

start a fight with the end then turn your ps2 or ps3 timer forward one week then when you go back to the end, the end is dead of old age! this follows a funny video!

2. when you see the video where octolot makes that old bloke piss himself, before the guard wheels The End in the base, you can shoot him in the head and kill him :) Promise

I know what you mean and it's one of the best weapons to get the foxhound rank, but getting the thing in MSG3 is the only downside to it.

it might not be the 'ends' rifle per say cause he is in the middle east and russia did sell arms to that region during the cold war so maybe he finds one or picks one up off an enemy

the m1891/30 is at least. the m1891 is now a collecters item as most were arseonal refurbished in 1930-end of production date with sling cuts in the stock, minor work on the extractor claw and adjustable sights. The REAL 1891/30 sniper is a few hundred bucks, while i got my 1891/30 for $70. they really fire 7.62x54R (rimmed) instead of those rediculous tranq shots kojama is so fond of.

This would probably be the game exclusive for the PS3 that could possibly save it. I am not saying it is a bad console, it just does not have the games that people really want to buy. But this is just my opinion.

I'm glad that this is a PS3 exclusive. Xbox steals everything. Kojima loves Sony consoles, so he'd never sell MGS4 to the Xbox. And wasn't that The End's Mosin Nagant that he used early in the video?? Its got the pistol grip and folding stock, and the scope looks identical. This adds to the evidence of Big Boss appearing in MGS4, very odd.

PS3 only. GameSpot dot com is your friend. Recently at Leipzig Games Convention, regarding MGS4 coming to the 360, Producer Ken Imaizumi addressed the possibility of MGS4 coming to the X360 stating that, Konami has no plan for an Xbox 360 version of the game, then paused, and added a sly "for now."

it obviously won't be coming to the PS2. two main reasons. first it that in all the Trailers, they only metion the PS3, no PS2. they even metion the cell processor, a chip used for the PS3. secondly, is the level of graphics. Look at ALL of the high tech games for the PS2. none come even close to this in terms of graphics. Plus, with all the action and AI, MGS4 on the PS2 would run at about 1-2 frames per sec (that a still picture).

lol nicely said that is the reason why most people are buying a PS3 since now the 360 has more or less everything the PS3 has. However, my purchase of a PS3 is just in general.  It's pointless taking sides in fan-boy frays. I always get the 2 main consoles, for a larger choice of games.
