Custom TF2 Menu Music

Are your custom startup song still working? Because I can't get it to work anymore. whenever i start up the game tf2 overrides the song with the standard tf2 startup.

@istemann I'm not sure, the game files have changed a lot since i made this. Although the music files annoyingly get replaced every-time you start, making custom music mods hard :S Try installing it normally, or replace the last music file (8 or so) and then have a 1 in how ever many chance of it playing :S

@istemann listen. to fix this, you copy the file 4 times and it should be something like this in there (ex:gamestartup.mp3, gamestartup2.mp3 until 4). I believe this should solve your problem

All the pictures taken of my gameplay were taken with the highest fov possible, the editing messed up slightly.

I'd love it if one of the startup pictures was instead a video of just some hectic gameplay from a high angle shot of the 2fort bridge or something, or the centre point in any two-way CP map.

@TheZollyz How? If I try to remove a track, and giving my custom music the same name, the original music track comes back after launching the game. And If I try to make a bonus track like "gamestartup12", it wont play.

well i used sounds from the game which i added to the tune. I tried to make it follow on from each other, ie check post reply to wowser929 above, and added the guitar riff at the end. shame u dont like it.

I tried to make it make sense, ie the sounds follow each other. For example, a rocket is heard being launched then exploding, and the demoman calls out a spy earlier but then the spy stabs the engiee instead.

hey cool menu music, pretty heavy and wild welldone man, love the achievment rip with the pyro at the end, was awesome, however, being honest, if the video had cool matching footage, rather than stills, it would have been 5 stars, but the music (the reason i clicked the link) was excellent.

That's what i was going for, i also tried for it to make sense. For example, the heavy comes out shooting, the scout bats him to death then he gets heads hotted by sniper, etc.
