@AlienX99999 I have done exactly that however the BGM is still disabled and when the sound effects are enabled it still freezes. I'm playing it on Win XP... even if I use a virtual machine 95 I get the same problem. I'm running out of ideas here at least if I can get the SFX running it will still be playable for me..
i feel bad for saying this but i had the cd i never beat out the game and one day i threw it away along with some other old cds...i regret it..but i'm glad to have memories at least.
Thanks for letting me know. Yeah, I got the disc in the mail today. It ran great under Windows 7 64-bit. Only problem is, the sound effects don't work (but ambient sounds and music do). The technical help file on the disc says sound effects aren't available on Windows NT systems (like XP and 7) but it seems like in this video, all the sounds are working great on your machine. Did you have to do any tweaking?
@AlienX99999 never mind. all i had to do was get it at gameswin.info and search pitfall, then download these 2 dlls wail32.dll and dispdib.dll at my folder where i downloaded pitfall at, then i set the compatability mode to windows 95 and it plays like a dream.
@Skilletdude07 it can work on windows 7 but you have to download it at gameswin, download dispdib.dll and wail32.dll in the folder where pitfall is, and set the compatability mode to windows 95 which then displays 2 errors which you never need to worry about because it wont affect the game.

wow. Either the PC version uses the Sega Cd's music or the Sega Cd uses the PC's music. Which ya think?

@younggunsfan
I think the sega cd one came first so the pc used the sega cd music

Thanks for posting the clip. You think this would work on Windows Vista or Windows 7 64-bit?

@Skilletdude07 Don't know. Works on XP 64 bit just fine, for me at least.
