WE LOST TO A PRETTY GOOD UTAH TEAM,THEY WERE UNDEFEATED N HAMMERED ALABAMA IN BCS GAME,HAHAHA WE CAME CLOSE TO BEATN THEM N WE SUCKD THAT YEAR,OUR OFFENSE AINT KNO WUT DA FUCK WAS GOIN ON.....VERY FRUSTRATING YEAR,SPECIALLY WHEN WE KNEW WE WERE GOIN TO STRUGGLE UNDER NEW OFFENSE N NO PLAYERS TO RUN IT!! AND HAD SO MANY TRANSFERS IT WAS REDICULOUS,WE ON THE RITE TRACK NOW SO LAUGH NOW BUT WE BACK N GON GET REVENGE ON ALL THESE TEAMS...GO BLUE!!!
OSU FANS: Utah was a great team in 08! 13-0. So stop saying it's a joke because they beat a good Alabama team in a bowl game, A SEC team in a bowl game. Ya know, Something you've never done
I think Utah was intimidated going into Michigan, hence the small margin of victory. As the season went on, it became apparent that Michigan was awful and that Utah was pretty good. If they had played again at the end of the year, I think the margin of victory would have probably been somewhere in the neighborhood of 84 points.
@Honky3 Well put. Nobody plays their best game during week one. You need a little time to get the cobwebs out, get in rhythm, etc. Had this game been played in say, Week 8, I'd say Utah: 45 UM: 10, maybe worse. I know it sounds CRAZY to talk about a Michigan team like that, but so be it: that 2008 team just flat-out SUCKED and Utah was one of the best in the country that year.
Mike Adams is a 5* player from 2008. Michigan was 3-9 last year? now they'll be 9-3 or 10-2 all of a sudden? Was last years team even really talented? NO. They'll improve, but @Illinois, PSU, @Iowa, ND, and OSU are alll losses. Try 6-6, maybe 7-5 and a low level bowl like Notre Dame in 2008. THEN, in 2010, Michigan should win 8, maybe 9 games.
Rodriguez was part of Tulane's success, including their 12-0 season in Rodriguez's last season at Tulane, mainly for his spread offense with quarterback Shaun King. When Bowden was hired as the head coach at Clemson University, he retained Rodriguez on his staff. Rodriguez served as the offensive coordinator and associate head coach until the end of the 2000 season, traveling to a Peach Bowl and Gator Bowl.
Rodriguez left Glenville State at the end of the 1996 season to serve as assistant coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterback coach for Tulane University from 1997 to 1998, under head coach Tommy Bowden.
You are being highly subjective is what it says to me. Words like I don't think, and I don't feel are subjective words. It would be much better for fans to simply close their mouths and wait, than babble on about what they think. I'm not RR fan either, it's simply not fair to make this type of judgement based on 2008's scenario. 2008 tells us nothing more than handing RR lemons doesn't result in lemonade. Stoops, Meyer, Tress, Miles, Saban, Carroll all increased their win total by 4-6 games yr2
"Rich Rod wasn't immediately good in one year (with the wrong personnel for his scheme), so I'm going to judge him based on one season with the worst case scenario he could have had"
See, you are saying he sucked 'since joining the Big 10' like he has had an era. He has one year experience in a new conference running a new scheme with inept players.
:I don't think he will be better than..." The words I don't think says a lot about your opinion.
this was a shity year for Michigan um I think they should of started fagen insted of freaken threet fagan could run they should of just let him run the ball on the QB draws and QB powers insted of threet and nick
If Feagin wasn't considered at QB instead of Threet and Sheridan, what does that tell you about his passing ability? This isn't NCAA '10. You can't just put a guy who is one-dimensional at QB if that one dimension is running.
yeah yeah yeah I no but he made things happening in the Minnesota game tho, who would you have Running the ball at QB tho huh huh huh I know threet had some good runs but Feagin can do beter
Utah didn't give them a couple of scores. Michigan worked for all of the scores they got. OSU will have nobody this year to play with. Pryor is the only OSU good player.
They have Berry, a 5* RB coming in. Along with GREAT depth at RB besides him. A solid OL (3 starters back), and what? 2-3 5* OL that will be freshman and sophomores. Small should be a good WR. The D will be FINE, and they have a good number of 5* players to break in.
Who does Michigan have that's proven? Besides the running game? Exactly...sorry bud, have fun with a 6-6 record.
Worst coaching hire ever? Blow me! It was one goddamn season and your dropping Richrod ihn the fryer? He's gonig to make Michigan a national championship contender in 2 years and a perenial Big Ten powerhouse. You watch.
A couple of easy scores, UM's defense made that QB Johnson act like a scared bitch! Then Michigan themselves got back into that game. Yet, Utah played better and by far deserved to win, so I can't talk. Good game Utah a well deserved win!
WVU could beat michigan any day WVU beat has won 4 straight bowls against georgia, georgia tech, okalohoma (48-28) and now unc and pat white was the only QB to go 4-0 in bowls and is the all time leading rusher for QBs and by the way i thought rich was an awesome coach but he turned on us right before we were going to the national championship rich was a great coach taking wvu to an 11-1 season but he let WVU fans down and a lot of people are still mad and i have to admitt UM is a great team
fuck you bitch. You make a stupid comment on every Michigan video there is. Why don't you just go back to your moms basement and eat chicken wings covered in your dads cum? the Wolverines are going to beat the pusseyes next season, and after that, they are going to rape the shit out of Ohio state on a yearly basis. Remember the 2005-2007 Mountaineers? Think of those teams on steroids, and that's what Michigan is going to look like under RichRod. Good luck stopping us!
wow wolverineboss... looks like i have more of a life than u bitch. michigan blows, and ur funny that u think they will turn around off their joke of a seaason and beat the buckeyes. fuckin pussy
Yes, that's right, Michigan will BEAT OSWho this season. We return 10/11 starters on offense, we hired a good defensive coordinator in G. Robinson to coach up all the talent we have on defense (B. Graham, Ezeh, Warren, etc), and we finally have a dual threat QB running our spread option offense (Tate Forcier). The suckeyes, on the other hand, lose all their good defensive players, their top 2 receivers, 3 o-linemen, and Beanie Wells. And the game is in A2. Get ready to LOSE next November!
you can return the whole fucking team. u went 3-9.....its not like ur florida returning 11 defensive players-who actually had a championship season. and no d1 team has ever gone from 3-9 to turn around and have a bowl winning championship season...let alone beat tOSU.
I didn't say anything about a championship. I think Michigan will rebound to win 9 games just like the 2002 Mountaineers did, but I don't think we'll win a Big ten championship. I think either Penn State or Iowa will win the Big Ten. Also, our 3-9 record is not indicative of our talent. Its indicative of the fact that RichRods teams always suck in year one cause the transition is so tough. But richrods teams from year two on out kick ass, and our talent will show next season
heres some more stats. first off ur starting quarterback is out for atleast 5 weeks cuz hes a pussy and broke his shit. also, we dont need wells...we have a dude named Dan Herron.. u might remember him from last year when he rushed 8 times for 80 yards against michigan. 10 ypc is good in case u didnt know. And wat happend last time we lost a lot of defensive players liek hawk/carpenter/smith/ginn....ooooh yah we still beat you.
Nich Sheridan is not our starting quarterback you stupid bitch. Forcier is our starting QB, and he's 100% healthy. I know you want Sheridan to start, but it's not going to happen whether he's healthy or not. Forcier is our starter, and you fuckeye panzies won't be able to stop him. Eat shit. You don't need Beanie? He was only your entire offense the last two seasons. Boom Herron didn't do shit against Michigan save that 49 yard TD run, which was obviously a fluke. You can't replace Beanie.
That's right, Bust Herron didn't do shit accept that for that 49 yard run. He had 8 carries for 80 yards on the game. But aside from that 49 yarder, he had 7 carries for 31 yards (only 4.75 yards per carry). The 49 yard run was a fluke. Michigan stuffed Herron last year, and we will do so again in 2009. OSwho CANNOT and WILL NOT adequately replace Beanie Wells.
When you guys beat us after you lost Carpenter, Hawk, Smith, and Ginn, fucking Lloyd Carr was still the head coach. But in 2009, you'll be facing RichRod, in year two, at the Big House, and don't count on having the luck you had in 2007, when Henne and Hart were crippled and you still only beat us 14-3. The 5 game winning streak comes to an END in 2009. Deal with it.
haha...so basically ur admitting lloyd carr was a douche and a shitty coach.. but all you dumbasses truly believe a coach who led u to 3-9 is good? Because he had a lot of talent for 2 yeras at WVU. A good coach makes due with his resources and players- and Rich Rod cant do that. He is not a good coach but i love that u michigan fans think he is. I'll deal with a win. ur team is a joke
I don't think Carr was a shitty coach, but his teams consistently underachieved, and he was getting owned by Tressell. That shit had to stop. I respect Carr, especially since he he led us to a national championship in 1997, but he had worn out his time in Ann Arbor. He had to go. And yes, RichRod is a good coach. Actually, he's a great coach. His teams always suck in year one, so us going 3-9 last season is not surprising at all.
He did not have alot of talent in his 7 seasons at West Virginia. He only had 4 really good players (Pat White, Steve Slaton, Chris Henry, and Pacman Jones), and all 4 of those guys were low level 3 stars coming out of HS. RichRod made WVU the BCS powerhouse that they were, and he did it with MAC talent. He got more 4 star recruits in his first class at Michigan (the class of 2008), then he did in his entire 7 years at WVU. Michigan is going to be BOSS with all the talent RichRod will have
I'll admit that RichRod isn't the best coach at adapting to his talent, but neither was Bill Walsh. Just like Walsh, RichRod doesn't need to adapt to his talent, cause once he gets his own players into a program, that program becomes dominant (Glennville State, Tulane, Clemson, West Virginia). The same thing will happen at Michigan very soon
and dude...not even kidding. i would feel bad for tate forcier if he is ur starting qb. look at pictures of him. the dude is 180 sopping wet. he is the skinniest starting QB ive ever seen. he will get broken in half by fucking toledo..let alone if he makes it to the buckeyes- which he wont. dude is a little bitch with arms as thick as toothpicks.
1. Forcier was 179 when he arrived in january, and he's already buffed up to 187. He's going to be close to 200 by the start of the season
2. Even if Forcier stayed at 180, it wouldn't matter. Pat White was 185. Dennis Dixon was 192. Doug Flutie was 190. How did those guys work out? Exactly. You're just mad cause you know Forcier is going to make the suckeye defense his BITCH for the next 4 seasons.
hahah. your puting your faith, dreams and futute in the hands of some little bitch who t.pryor would kill with his little toe. and all those dudes are bigger than him. look at that picture of him....i cant believe you actually think he will do well... the kid is a pussy. he will get hurt in the first 3 weeks. mark my words.
WTF are you talking about? Forcier is just one piece of the entire pie (albeit a rather large piece). I'm not putting my eggs into one basket. If Forcier doesn't pan out at QB, then either Denard Robinson or Devin Gardner will (when Gardner arrives in 2010, anyways). And you missed my entire point: Flutie, Dixon, and White were all small quarterbacks just like Forcier, and they were superstars. Forciers small frame means absolutely nothing. he will be a superstar one day. Deal with it.
Forcier is not going to get hurt, cause no ones going to be able to catch him. Everybody said White would get hurt as well, and he just ran away from everybody. The only injury problems he ever had were late in the 2007 season. Rasheed Marshall, Woody Dantzler, and Shaun King also ran away from everybody and avoided injury. RichRod has had quarterbacks as small or smaller then Forcier, and they never had injury problems. Forcier will be a-ok. Keep dreaming about him getting injured.
haha so your saying forcier isnt going to get tackled? wow. hes a qb. I truly hope he doesnt get injured so the buckeyes get 100% of all michigans players and still stomp them. and just so you know. 4.75 yards a carry PLUS a 49 yard run for a TD is fucking amazing man. haha a fluke. what did ur LB's have bugs in their eyes?
No you dumbass. I'm not literally saying Forcier won't get tackled. Of course he'll be tackled. He'll be tackled multiple times. I'm just saying no one is going to hit him hard enough for him to get injured. Did White get injured? Nope. Flutie? Nope. Vick? Nope. Ken Dorsey? Nope. In all liklihood, Forcier will NOT get injured.
Let me repeat what I said so that way you can contemplate it: aside from that 49 yarder, he had 7 carries for 31 yards (only 4.75 yards per carry). This means that the 49 yard run was a FLUKE. If you have one good run amongst 7 bad or average runs, then the one good run is a fluke. Case closed.
Also, you know damn well that no one on the fuckeyes roster (not Bust Herron, not Brandon InSaine, not Jamal BitchBerry, and not Carlos "Jackel and" Hyde) can replace Beanie Wells, so you are resorting to calling out my supposed lack of composition skills. How embarrasing!
Oswho won 4 of those games against Lloyd Carr. You're only 1-0 against RichRod, and that was in his first year at Michigan. RichRod will soon be the one beating the pusseyes 5 times in a row.
I agree that Forcier is going to be great at Michigan. If he was UofM's QB last year they would have made a bowl game. Shows how important the QB position it in this style of offense. But to say that he will probally not get injured because he is fast is reckless. It's the blind side blitzes from a 285 pound defensive end that could get him injured. I agree with you that U of M will manhandle OSU in the next 2-5 years because we all know OSU can't stop fast offenses!!!
I'm sorry, I guess I have double standards. I recall laughing at your pittiful Buckeye's when U of M was 10-1-1 against them. I guess It's your turn!!! But I am looking forward to the future when U of M starts their winning streak!!!
So I was right!!! Grow up little man, your postings here show your level of intelligence!!! OSU will have 3 losses before they play U of M!!!. Don't say OSU has a stellar Defense. They have no speeeeeeed!!!
yeah you were handed a BCS bowl caliber team, with an awesome senior QB (white), a thousand yard back (noel), probably the best OL, and you bungled your way to a shitty finish in which you got blown out by ECU and lost to a shitty CU team, haha, I do believe utah went undefeated and beat alabama in their "BCS" BOWL, I always notice WVU fans dissin RR, you loved him when he was there quit being bitter, and by the way ya'll should fire stewart because he sucks, I mean he has killed a good team.
as a michigan fan that was there, i was impressed by the amount of utah fans there, you utes sure know how to follow your team. Best of luck next year to the utes, and good job beating Alabama
Its so funny how people say we beat a shitty Michigam team this year. Well to be frankly honest, who knew that they were gonna be so shitty. I think just the fact that they lost to a non conference team at "THE BIG HOUSE" it was to demoralizing for them and they never recovered haha. We will show you Bama peeps whats up tomorrow. UTAH MAN TILL I DIE!!!!! GO UTES!
I can't wait, the Sugar Bowl looks like it's gonna be a great game. Utah has a very good team and deserves a BCS bowl game. I think the PAC 10 invite you and Boise State, I think Utah would compete for the PAC 10 championship every year.
Considering Michigan would devour anybody in the WAC other than Boise State- and I mean absolutely destroy -who did the Bronco's beat that was so impressive?
Just so everyone is aware, no road losses = suck on the road.
I'm not a Utah fan and I think they will be in for a rude awakining against the Tide, but how does winning every road game make them suck on the road?
Because they didn't beat ANYBODY on the road. Not only that but they only beat air force by 7 points and they beat New Mexico 13-10! How pathetic is that? Boise State dominated Oregon in one of the toughest stadiums in the country. Now you have to play a very pissed off and fired up bama team on the road. Good luck 'cause you're gonna need it.
still though, its not easy to go unbeaten on the road, no matter what the competition. but I do agree with your pt that they didn't really beat anyone. and why are u wishing me good luck, I'm an Arkansas fan, not a Utah fan.
I didn't know u were an arkansas fan (BTW i feel bad 4 u).I'm just sayin' BSU beat the second best team in the pac 10 on the road in the toughest stadium in the west and Utah hasn't beatin' anybody on the road so they're gonna get hammered when they have to play the tide because it will be a home game 4 bama.
I know they will get slammed by Bama, they'll hang around for a while, but the Tide will pull away due to being just a flat out better team. and don't feel bad for me cuz I'm a Hog fan, yea we had a bad year, but I wasn't expecting greatness from a rebuilding team with a new coach. we're on the rise and are going to challenge for the SEC in a few years.
to bad Utah is in the Moutain West, not the WAC. and yeah, I picked the wrong team, big deal. and the only matchup between the WAC and SEC this year was between Florida and Hawaii, and Flordia destroyed them 56-10.
How did that All-World Hawaii team and it's record setting offense handle Georgia when they got their chance? You can't compare the WAC and MWC to the SEC from top to bottom. If you think they're anywhere close to on par with the SEC, you're just plain dumb. Ok, so Utah played the best game of their lives against Alabama without Andre Smith (and that was a much bigger deal than people made it out to be), but be realistic.
kind of makes you wonder about Utah though because they barely beat Michigan here, one of the worst Division I-A teams this year. Utah did beat Oregon State though but Oregon State was overrated ONLY because of their win over USC (I mean Oregon State did get absolutely destroyed by Penn State). The Utes are #7 in the BCS. Good luck to them though if they have to play a team like Texas or the loser of the SEC championship game this weekend. Ill be rooting for the Utes to beat a powerhouse team.
Utah played a great game. Michigan's D lost the game in the 1st half. UM made it close for 3 reasons: 1) Utah penalties 2) some good fortune on special teams 3) 2nd half UM defense. The loss hurts less seeing Utah's success as the season continues. A pretty good team, for sure. Despite the loss and unproductive UM offense, I had fun at this game. Go Blue!
In a couple of weeks, Michigan State will actually be FAVORED to beat the Wolverines. Question: Who was in the White House the last time that happened?
"The Spartans were in the Top 25 and Michigan was not -- and Michigan State was the favorite -- in the annual matchup for the first time since 1968, the year before Bo Schembechler began coaching the Wolverines."
MSU was at home, 4-0 and ranked #11. Michigan was 2-2, unranked and coming off a loss to Wisconsin. Michigan won 34-31 in overtime.
Favored means expected to win according to the point spread, and MSU was expected to win according to the point spread that year. It's obvious you're a Michigan fan, and I have no loyalties to either team, but I'm absolutely not apologizing for being right.
He was being sarcastic about the apologizing thing. It's obvious you are a very stuck-up individual that spends his time isolated, reading or studying and has no friends. He knows what favored means..
You guys have two dual threat guys coming in as freshmen next year...they will be your starters, no question about it. Write this year off. Next year will be shitty because of the learning curve...then i'd look for Michigan to play well in 2010.
Not true. Michigan can be .500 next year while training the new QB's for spread option. 2010 will be a make or break year for DickRod.
I'm not sticking up for him, because he will have wasted a season not drafting a good QB or Running back (McGuffie? come on now!). He will correct for this by 2010.
you don't know the Michigan mafia. DickRod is GONE after 2009 if we don't show improvment. I guarantee it. There won't be a 2010 under dick Fraudriguez unless michigan shows improvement in 2009. I say fire Dickrod RIGHT NOW.
Exactly. Dickrod is scum. Enjoy your ownage of my beloved Wolverines. I highly doubt Michigan will ebat Ohio State for another decade. Michigan shouldn't bother trying to get to Ohio States level. Its impossible at this point. the Fuckeyes permantly own Michigan, and the rivalry is officially DEAD. ):):):):
by the end of the year michigan will be one of the better teams in the country. This is a great reason why a playoff system would be awesome! BOYCOTT TOSTITOS if u want a playoff system.
you are a fucking idiot! UM just got smoked by Illinois, they might win two more games the rest of year. They don't have a legacy anymore.... DickRod will be gone in 3 years
Michigan will beat Toledo tommorow, and that will be their last win of the decade. They will go 3-9 in 2008 and then go winless in 2009 and fire Dick Fraudriguez. Hiring DickRod was a DISASTER. Michigan should go after Brady Hoke or Cam Cameron
Poole1Dan was also saying at the beginning of the season that UM would win the Big Ten and beat Ohio State. HAHAHA. He said they'd only have one loss this season, to Wisconsin. Hmmmmm, worst Michigan team I've ever seen!
I actually went back and looked at my own reasons for picking Michigan to go 11-2. I thought some of the points I made would sound idiotic, but in reality, they made alot of damn sense. I was dead wrong about my 11-2 prediction, but at the same time, no one can fault me for the logic I gave to justify an 11-2 season. The problem is, DickRod has discarded all logic and has completely destroyed the 2008 season. *sighs*
LOL. Well, I callit like I see it. We all do. if you think my 11-2 orediction was stupid, get this: I predicted Ohio state to beat florida 45-3 in the NC game. How did that turn out?
True fans like me love to make predictions, and sometimes we look like fools afterwards. But other times, we look like genius's. Its the nature of the beast. I've looked like an idiot, and I've looked like a genius, and I can provide examples of both.
Hey man, I was kind of agreeing with you. Michigan is garbage thanks to Dickrod, but can you REALLY fault me for picking Michigan to ebat fucking Toledo? Its like Tom Breenaman said: thatw as a more shocking loss then the App state game
I was at this game. i got really good seats. they were just below the press box. Its only the second Michigan loss I've wintessed out of the 10 games I've attended. The other one was the 26-20 loss to Ohio State in 2001.
Wow. The hit on the Michigan QB (whatever his name is) was brutal. I had no idea Utah dominated this game. Michigan made it close, but in the end they got dominated by an average team.
The score was 25-23 you dumbass. How did Utah "dominate" this game? The Utes had problems with Steven Threet in the 2nd half for fucks sake! And they weren't an average team either. They went undefeated, finished 2nd in the nation, and whipped the shit out of Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Who would even post this garbage? Michigan is the #1 team in College Football history. Utah has been to one real bowl game in the last 10 years. Michigan's walk-ons would be stars at Utah. Geezus, Utah fans are delusional.
I am a Michigan fan and I completely understand why they would post this - they beat UM! They were a better team and once Michigan refines their offense, they will improve and be more consistent. Utah worked our offense in the first half but they have been playing better since then.
Good luck to Utah the rest of the season and Go Blue!
Utah was a good team that year. This was the 1st year of the Rich-rod error, and I defy Utah to play Michigan under the Hoke system!

I think Utah was intimidated going into Michigan, hence the small margin of victory. As the season went on, it became apparent that Michigan was awful and that Utah was pretty good. If they had played again at the end of the year, I think the margin of victory would have probably been somewhere in the neighborhood of 84 points.
Honky3 2 years ago 12

Rich Rod was a good under a much lower conference but he has sucked since joining the Big 10.
He has a 25% win ratio and I don't think he will be any better than .500 after two years.

Here's what I'm hearing you say

KennedyKo12 2 years ago
If Feagin wasn't considered at QB instead of Threet and Sheridan, what does that tell you about his passing ability? This isn't NCAA '10. You can't just put a guy who is one-dimensional at QB if that one dimension is running.
MatthieuC87 2 years ago
yeah yeah yeah I no but he made things happening in the Minnesota game tho, who would you have Running the ball at QB tho huh huh huh I know threet had some good runs but Feagin can do beter

actually, they did.. on the kickoff at the very beginning of the game

Utah didn't give them a couple of scores. Michigan worked for all of the scores they got. OSU will have nobody this year to play with. Pryor is the only OSU good player.
UMAnnArbor2 2 years ago
actually one of UVMs drives only lasted cuz of a 3rd down personel foul
Luke9er9er 2 years ago

You watch.
wolverineboss 2 years ago

Good luck stopping us!
wolverineboss 2 years ago
wow wolverineboss... looks like i have more of a life than u bitch. michigan blows, and ur funny that u think they will turn around off their joke of a seaason and beat the buckeyes. fuckin pussy
smee487 2 years ago
Yes, that's right, Michigan will BEAT OSWho this season. We return 10/11 starters on offense, we hired a good defensive coordinator in G. Robinson to coach up all the talent we have on defense (B. Graham, Ezeh, Warren, etc), and we finally have a dual threat QB running our spread option offense (Tate Forcier). The suckeyes, on the other hand, lose all their good defensive players, their top 2 receivers, 3 o-linemen, and Beanie Wells. And the game is in A2. Get ready to LOSE next November!
wolverineboss 2 years ago
you can return the whole fucking team. u went 3-9.....its not like ur florida returning 11 defensive players-who actually had a championship season. and no d1 team has ever gone from 3-9 to turn around and have a bowl winning championship season...let alone beat tOSU.
smee487 2 years ago
I didn't say anything about a championship. I think Michigan will rebound to win 9 games just like the 2002 Mountaineers did, but I don't think we'll win a Big ten championship. I think either Penn State or Iowa will win the Big Ten. Also, our 3-9 record is not indicative of our talent. Its indicative of the fact that RichRods teams always suck in year one cause the transition is so tough. But richrods teams from year two on out kick ass, and our talent will show next season
wolverineboss 2 years ago
heres some more stats. first off ur starting quarterback is out for atleast 5 weeks cuz hes a pussy and broke his shit. also, we dont need wells...we have a dude named Dan Herron.. u might remember him from last year when he rushed 8 times for 80 yards against michigan. 10 ypc is good in case u didnt know. And wat happend last time we lost a lot of defensive players liek hawk/carpenter/smith/ginn....ooooh yah we still beat you.
smee487 2 years ago
Nich Sheridan is not our starting quarterback you stupid bitch. Forcier is our starting QB, and he's 100% healthy. I know you want Sheridan to start, but it's not going to happen whether he's healthy or not. Forcier is our starter, and you fuckeye panzies won't be able to stop him. Eat shit. You don't need Beanie? He was only your entire offense the last two seasons. Boom Herron didn't do shit against Michigan save that 49 yard TD run, which was obviously a fluke. You can't replace Beanie.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
haha sorry im stil laughing at your one comment. Herron didnt do shit except that 49 yard td run. thats funny. thanks
smee487 2 years ago
That's right, Bust Herron didn't do shit accept that for that 49 yard run. He had 8 carries for 80 yards on the game. But aside from that 49 yarder, he had 7 carries for 31 yards (only 4.75 yards per carry). The 49 yard run was a fluke. Michigan stuffed Herron last year, and we will do so again in 2009. OSwho CANNOT and WILL NOT adequately replace Beanie Wells.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
When you guys beat us after you lost Carpenter, Hawk, Smith, and Ginn, fucking Lloyd Carr was still the head coach. But in 2009, you'll be facing RichRod, in year two, at the Big House, and don't count on having the luck you had in 2007, when Henne and Hart were crippled and you still only beat us 14-3. The 5 game winning streak comes to an END in 2009. Deal with it.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
haha...so basically ur admitting lloyd carr was a douche and a shitty coach.. but all you dumbasses truly believe a coach who led u to 3-9 is good? Because he had a lot of talent for 2 yeras at WVU. A good coach makes due with his resources and players- and Rich Rod cant do that. He is not a good coach but i love that u michigan fans think he is. I'll deal with a win. ur team is a joke
smee487 2 years ago
I don't think Carr was a shitty coach, but his teams consistently underachieved, and he was getting owned by Tressell. That shit had to stop. I respect Carr, especially since he he led us to a national championship in 1997, but he had worn out his time in Ann Arbor. He had to go. And yes, RichRod is a good coach. Actually, he's a great coach. His teams always suck in year one, so us going 3-9 last season is not surprising at all.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
He did not have alot of talent in his 7 seasons at West Virginia. He only had 4 really good players (Pat White, Steve Slaton, Chris Henry, and Pacman Jones), and all 4 of those guys were low level 3 stars coming out of HS. RichRod made WVU the BCS powerhouse that they were, and he did it with MAC talent. He got more 4 star recruits in his first class at Michigan (the class of 2008), then he did in his entire 7 years at WVU. Michigan is going to be BOSS with all the talent RichRod will have
wolverineboss 2 years ago
I'll admit that RichRod isn't the best coach at adapting to his talent, but neither was Bill Walsh. Just like Walsh, RichRod doesn't need to adapt to his talent, cause once he gets his own players into a program, that program becomes dominant (Glennville State, Tulane, Clemson, West Virginia). The same thing will happen at Michigan very soon
wolverineboss 2 years ago
and dude...not even kidding. i would feel bad for tate forcier if he is ur starting qb. look at pictures of him. the dude is 180 sopping wet. he is the skinniest starting QB ive ever seen. he will get broken in half by fucking toledo..let alone if he makes it to the buckeyes- which he wont. dude is a little bitch with arms as thick as toothpicks.
smee487 2 years ago
Exactly. You're just mad cause you know Forcier is going to make the suckeye defense his BITCH for the next 4 seasons.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
hahah. your puting your faith, dreams and futute in the hands of some little bitch who t.pryor would kill with his little toe. and all those dudes are bigger than him. look at that picture of him....i cant believe you actually think he will do well... the kid is a pussy. he will get hurt in the first 3 weeks. mark my words.
smee487 2 years ago
WTF are you talking about? Forcier is just one piece of the entire pie (albeit a rather large piece). I'm not putting my eggs into one basket. If Forcier doesn't pan out at QB, then either Denard Robinson or Devin Gardner will (when Gardner arrives in 2010, anyways). And you missed my entire point: Flutie, Dixon, and White were all small quarterbacks just like Forcier, and they were superstars. Forciers small frame means absolutely nothing. he will be a superstar one day. Deal with it.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
Forcier is not going to get hurt, cause no ones going to be able to catch him. Everybody said White would get hurt as well, and he just ran away from everybody. The only injury problems he ever had were late in the 2007 season. Rasheed Marshall, Woody Dantzler, and Shaun King also ran away from everybody and avoided injury. RichRod has had quarterbacks as small or smaller then Forcier, and they never had injury problems. Forcier will be a-ok. Keep dreaming about him getting injured.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
haha so your saying forcier isnt going to get tackled? wow.
OSwho beat you 5 times in a row.
"Adequately" is used improperly in your comment.
smee487 2 years ago
No you dumbass. I'm not literally saying Forcier won't get tackled. Of course he'll be tackled. He'll be tackled multiple times. I'm just saying no one is going to hit him hard enough for him to get injured. Did White get injured? Nope. Flutie? Nope. Vick? Nope. Ken Dorsey? Nope. In all liklihood, Forcier will NOT get injured.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
Let me repeat what I said so that way you can contemplate it: aside from that 49 yarder, he had 7 carries for 31 yards (only 4.75 yards per carry). This means that the 49 yard run was a FLUKE. If you have one good run amongst 7 bad or average runs, then the one good run is a fluke. Case closed.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
Also, you know damn well that no one on the fuckeyes roster (not Bust Herron, not Brandon InSaine, not Jamal BitchBerry, and not Carlos "Jackel and" Hyde) can replace Beanie Wells, so you are resorting to calling out my supposed lack of composition skills. How embarrasing!
Oswho won 4 of those games against Lloyd Carr. You're only 1-0 against RichRod, and that was in his first year at Michigan. RichRod will soon be the one beating the pusseyes 5 times in a row.
wolverineboss 2 years ago
I agree that Forcier is going to be great at Michigan. If he was UofM's QB last year they would have made a bowl game. Shows how important the QB position it in this style of offense. But to say that he will probally not get injured because he is fast is reckless. It's the blind side blitzes from a 285 pound defensive end that could get him injured. I agree with you that U of M will manhandle OSU in the next 2-5 years because we all know OSU can't stop fast offenses!!!

Just so everyone is aware, no road losses = suck on the road.
onemotivatedmoment 3 years ago
I'm not a Utah fan and I think they will be in for a rude awakining against the Tide, but how does winning every road game make them suck on the road?
acnhs09 3 years ago
Because they didn't beat ANYBODY on the road. Not only that but they only beat air force by 7 points and they beat New Mexico 13-10! How pathetic is that? Boise State dominated Oregon in one of the toughest stadiums in the country. Now you have to play a very pissed off and fired up bama team on the road. Good luck 'cause you're gonna need it.
boisestatebroncs 3 years ago
still though, its not easy to go unbeaten on the road, no matter what the competition. but I do agree with your pt that they didn't really beat anyone. and why are u wishing me good luck, I'm an Arkansas fan, not a Utah fan.
acnhs09 3 years ago
I didn't know u were an arkansas fan (BTW i feel bad 4 u).I'm just sayin' BSU beat the second best team in the pac 10 on the road in the toughest stadium in the west and Utah hasn't beatin' anybody on the road so they're gonna get hammered when they have to play the tide because it will be a home game 4 bama.
boisestatebroncs 3 years ago
I know they will get slammed by Bama, they'll hang around for a while, but the Tide will pull away due to being just a flat out better team. and don't feel bad for me cuz I'm a Hog fan, yea we had a bad year, but I wasn't expecting greatness from a rebuilding team with a new coach. we're on the rise and are going to challenge for the SEC in a few years.

joe41182 3 years ago
to bad Utah is in the Moutain West, not the WAC. and yeah, I picked the wrong team, big deal. and the only matchup between the WAC and SEC this year was between Florida and Hawaii, and Flordia destroyed them 56-10.
acnhs09 3 years ago

FrankeeFraud 3 years ago
George W. Bush. MSU was favored in 2005
dabbott14 3 years ago
Not even close, dabbot- the last time the "Michigan State Inevitables" were favored to beat the Wolverines, the president was LBJ (1968). Ouch!
FrankeeFraud 3 years ago
From the ESPN recap of the 2005 game:
"The Spartans were in the Top 25 and Michigan was not -- and Michigan State was the favorite -- in the annual matchup for the first time since 1968, the year before Bo Schembechler began coaching the Wolverines."
MSU was at home, 4-0 and ranked #11. Michigan was 2-2, unranked and coming off a loss to Wisconsin. Michigan won 34-31 in overtime.
dabbott14 3 years ago
Wrong! "MSU undefeated, MSU ranked, blah, blah, blah....." but they were NOT favored, because they are MSU! Apology accepted.
FrankeeFraud 3 years ago
Favored means expected to win according to the point spread, and MSU was expected to win according to the point spread that year. It's obvious you're a Michigan fan, and I have no loyalties to either team, but I'm absolutely not apologizing for being right.
dabbott14 3 years ago
Michigan State was indeed favored in 2005, and Michigan ebat them anyways.
But this time, MSU will actually win as the favorite. *shakes head in disgust*

Poole1Dan 3 years ago
You guys have two dual threat guys coming in as freshmen next year...they will be your starters, no question about it. Write this year off. Next year will be shitty because of the learning curve...then i'd look for Michigan to play well in 2010.

DickRod won't be around that long of Michigan keeps playing like shit. he'll be run out of town if the Wolverines don't show improvement in 2009
Poole1Dan 3 years ago
Not true. Michigan can be .500 next year while training the new QB's for spread option. 2010 will be a make or break year for DickRod.
I'm not sticking up for him, because he will have wasted a season not drafting a good QB or Running back (McGuffie? come on now!). He will correct for this by 2010.
cheeriopisser2 3 years ago
you don't know the Michigan mafia. DickRod is GONE after 2009 if we don't show improvment. I guarantee it. There won't be a 2010 under dick Fraudriguez unless michigan shows improvement in 2009. I say fire Dickrod RIGHT NOW.

dwccrew 3 years ago
I actually went back and looked at my own reasons for picking Michigan to go 11-2. I thought some of the points I made would sound idiotic, but in reality, they made alot of damn sense. I was dead wrong about my 11-2 prediction, but at the same time, no one can fault me for the logic I gave to justify an 11-2 season. The problem is, DickRod has discarded all logic and has completely destroyed the 2008 season. *sighs*

I said Michigan would win 5 games this year...and I'm embarrassed with myself.
If you predicted 11, you were laughed at then and you are laughed at now. There is no change.

"If you predicted 11, you were laughed at then and you are laughed at now. There is no change"
I was wrong. Whats your point?

My point is that your prediction is somewhat similar to predicting that a Geo metro will win the Daytona 500.
that's all

Go Blue!

Good game. Haha, Michigan put up a fight, but they are going NO WHERE.
Best Michigan win of the season: USC over OSU... It's really sad and dissapointing. Oh please let Michigan win at least 6 games.
I hope to see the Big Blue back on top in a couple of years...
GO BLUE!

there kicker was the only reason they won utah scoored only 1 td

Utah scored 2 TD's, 1:14 and 2:42. Penalties prevented them from scoring the 4 other trips to the red zone

the song sucks for the video

I picked it because of the repeating line "thanks for the memories". Essentially, I was thinking, "Hey Michigan, thanks for the memories!"

oh yeah Go Utah! michigan sucks!
