The green hair thing was the side effects of Broly's "sudden" release from Paragus' Mind Control Device on Broly's head. If you notice in Broly: Second Coming, Broly has the normal Golden hair color of a Super Saiyan in both SS and Legendary Super Saiyan transformations. BTW this song fits him.
