i also have cane corso and she is 5 months old.i cut her ears and tail,but about her ears i regreat.if you want too cut first look at your dog and think than look some videos.yes they look more agressive but i think its all about how you train your dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both dogs are beautiful, but why did u cut their tails?? In Germany and Switzerland it´s not allowed to cut the ears and/or tails (fortuantely!!)....

@NoaAikane it is recommended to cut the tail of Cane Corso, and i'll tell you why.

It's been proved that whenever he is anxious, happy, etc... the massive tail of the cane corso hits objects around, such as doors, furniture, chairs... etc. In many cases the tail get's hurt, it can even bleed and infect.

So, for not hurting your cane corso.. cut off the tail.

About ears... well I don't know about that :)

@XSymphony That would mean all big dogs shouldn´t have a tail. My two dogs hit things around wiht their tail every day - I´d never cut their tail bc NATURE gave them the tails and it´s a big IMPORTANT part of their body language and communication.

@NoaAikane well, my cane corso now has 8 months and 50 kg (aprox 100 pounds), and i bought it without tail, it's got pedigree, it's father is a champion etc. and that's the explanation i got from the dog's owner.

aww so precious n so beautiful we have a cane corso shes a brendle color black with blonde n light brown highlights like yours but a little brighter blonde but she was previously owned n abused were working with her she was never socalized but took to me n my husband great shes a little over a year n a half we got her 3 months ago wish we could of had her as a pup but shes slowly progressing

Thx....I think the temp was probably.......like100 degrees. Akello is my male he weighs about 125-145. Shyla is my female she weighs around 105. As far as buying a large cc look in to buying from Clint aska from millreef cane corso.

@jrcorso1 they are very beautiful my husband and i have one got her from an abusive owner so were working with her on somethings but with us and the family she an amazing loving dog shes a year and 9 months she was a year and a half wen we got her i wish we could of gotten her as a pup but we saved her thats better than anything

im considering a corso...just curious though, if i go through all obediance classes AND spend quality time, will i then be considered the ALPHA of the pack or are corsos a little harder to "train"?

All dogs need leadership. Cane Corsos are no exeption. But like other molossus dogs they are sensitive to humans and susceptible impact. Be gentle and determined leadership a all times and you do good whit a dog like a CC. But dogs like thees shouldent be yuor first dog. Experience with dogs or a huge interest with this kind of dogs is recomended. Still, molosser dogs are the best! Good luck

i dont want to be stupid but befor christ these cane corso's used to fight with lions so your pit is gonna be like a rabbit cane corso's are really strong and smart fighters although you should be really nice to this dogs cos these are the most sweetest animals ive ever known i had 1 of my own sadly she passed away.. but if i ever get another dog it will be a cane corso again still miss my baby dog everyday

I have had one for a month. There the best dog i have ever owned. There so big but very, very timid unless provoked. They are loyal and if you have young children the best with them.
