@H250V it's hard to tell if shining finger is better than burning finger or not. In terms of raw power, Burning Finger wins because it's usually activated with part of the hyper mode, and it attacks the whole body. Remember, Shining Gundam was designed for the preliminaries as a way to disqualify opponents. Shining Finger aims at to destroy the head or any other single part of the body. While that's still effective, burning finger does much more, especially with heat end

@Nanashi987111 You should also take in the fact that the techniques are from the people themselves and not the gundams. A few others did the burning finger, and Domon learned shining from Asia, hence the similar darkness finger.

Burning finger's music is far more epic though. However the shining finger sword would probably be more devastating if used properlly.

@AlexTheSoutherner While it is true that most fighters use their own techniques and not the gundams, Shining/Burning/Darkness/Risin­g/Heartful Finger are Gundam Techniques that are BASED off of a fighting style used by Master Asia and Domon. The hands of the Gundams emit a very powerful heat that allows them to crush Gundam Parts, or in Burning's case, break through defenses. With Shining finger, the hands emit steam to cool off. That's one of the few that count as Gundam moves as far as I know.

You have to admit, Domon has done some pretty fucked up shit. Need I remind you of "Burning Shadow"? How do you explain that one? Point is, G Gundam, while it is a kick ass anime and one of my favorites, has some things and techniques that can't be explained, even with their physics.

@Nanashi987111 Well of course. That's why it's a part of the super robot genre. None of the other gundams are. A majority of the show is based on emotion, martial arts, and chi energy. Asia and Domon launched a skyscraper with a kick and a punch, Asia caught giant shells, lifted the ground up, and sliced all kinds of things up with a belt. Domon held off mobile suits with a rusty old sword and his mind, and punched giant boulders and stuff. He eventually even surpassed Asia.

i dunno why, but i liked this particular gundam series more then all of the ones i remember.

one of the major reasons is they wear a suit which the gundam mimics the movements of, rather then some complex controls.
