Microsoft spend millions of dollars to stop illegal distribution of their softwares...How come than this helpless govt. who doesn't know anything abt EVR may able to stop such fraud....intension is clear.......they want prejudge result but predict people as they are elected by public....

Mantrik - if the researchers had access to the voting machine to prove their point (from an anonymous source or whatever), it means that it is possible for these machines to reach wrong hands.

All the methods that have been shown are possible only if the so called "goons" have access to the voting machines to physically tamper them. But even in traditional ballot voting if the goons had access to the ballot boxes, the election could be rigged. Therefore, the question is - Do the 'goons' have such access to the machines to be able to make those changes? In fact, electoral malpractices have reduced since the introduction of voting machines and phased voting in India.
