Im sorry but this is really bad...... I know Jerry Shirley is a good musician and was in some great bands..... but touring under the Humble Pie name and doing Fastway tunes is a really really bad move.
Uuhhhh, that bassist, yeah he gots to go.He jus a little too Duran Duran fer that gig.I'm surprised he ain't wearin one of those little black cowboy lookin hats that are flat on top.
Jerry Shirley was HP's drummer and co-founder. He wanted to reform the band in 1989 but Marriott wanted no part of it and gave Shirley his blessing to go for it. Shirley was also Fastway's drummer and co-founder, and wrote this tune in the video. Pie featuring Shirley performed in the USA for about 10 years and developed a loyal following, but never released any material. Shirley now owns the HP name and continues to play with a version of the band in Europe.
Right your are! Charlie's stepped into some big shoes over the years--following Derek St. Holmes in the Nugent band, Steve Marriott in Humble Pie, and Lonesome Dave in Foghat. He's pulled it off and he's added his own touch to those bands. Nobody can ever replace those original singers, but Charlie kicks out the jams and does much more than hold his own and really knows how to rock.

I didn't realize Jerry Shirley co-wrote this tune when he was in Fastway. Charlie Huhn did a great job on vocals for this one! Great post!
