74% of the german soldiers that died in ww2 died at the eastern front. WW2 were a battle btw Sovjet and Nazi Germany. The western front were only a little sideshow.

I was born, & lived in London for 22 yrs, & now I live in Bristol. I'm still upset about what the nazis done to these 2 fine cities, post war Britain was 2 broke 2 restore the ruins 2 their pre war splendour, & we just repaid the US our war debt 2 years ago !!

I'd like to inform 199520002002 of the Berlin airlift in 48 when the UK, & US saved the bombed out West Germans from starvation because of Soviet greed. Rationing ended in the UK in 55 due 2 this. :o(

i'm from Mex, and i would like to say thank you. Thanks Britons, thanks England. The US takes too much credit for defeating the Germans, but it was the Queen of the seas who put it's chest in front of the sword.... my country didn't go to war, but i proudly would have served in the British navy.

The US with British, Canadian, French help defeated Germany in the West while the Soviets overwhelmed Nazis in East. US had HUGE role in victory.
