  • I listened to most of the OST comparisons and I have to say that the PC-88 wins in those aspects.

It also helps that I am a big fan of the 1980's synthesizer.

  • I dont know but this sounds like it was in Metal Gear 2

  • PS one is really creepy...

  • You know something? I wish the SNES had a version of this game. The graphics might have not been good, but I'm interested in the music/sound effects it could put out. Hell, it kicked butt with Doom (in terms of sound effects and music)

  • MSX2 has it.... Sega CD's version... sounds too genesis... Hard to explain, but that's the reason why I like the MSX2 version better.

  • @bullss21 I think it sound more Megadrive, but that´s just my opinion.

  • Again, the Sega CD version is best for me. It seems a bit darker, more sinister to me.

  • @RyuHayabusa06 The MSX2 is close but it's too fast and has too killer of a break beat (hard to be scared when you're nodding your head LOL), PC-88 has weak instruments, PC-Engine is really really good, what you would hope the MSX2 would sound like but the SEGA CD has the awesome instruments with bass that startles you when you play it loud and hear it for the first time. SEGA CD FTW!

  • May I ask how you run MSX on PC?

  • @hulksjedi MSX can be run on PC the same way you run any Retro video game console on PC: Emulators.

  • Classic.
