  • should we fear the consequences of doing evil?

  • @skatetennis123 Let us take an example: take the english prince what's his name. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, educated, never have to worry about how to make ends meet in old age etc. I am sure he is a nice man, obviously has the time & money to help others, the not-so fortunate people

Then take a child born in utter poverty. Grows up without an education, crime, booze, sex, drugs rampant in his neighborhood. His own elders teach him to steal as a kid. What are the chance that this

  • @ramaraksha01 in islam it is said that most of the inhabitants of heaven/paradise/the garden of eden/ al-jannah will be from those who were poor on earth. In some poor countries although the education is very different, so may call it non existent, there is less immorality. however this doesn't answer my question, the answer is that we should fear the consequences of comitting evil. that acts as a deterrent against people doing evil

  • @skatetennis123 sorry if i sounded arrogant by saying 'the answer is that...'. please watch my videos

  • @skatetennis123 Like i posted to meka1star, Life is harsh, so people wished for a nice afterlife. Heaven is just a dream & as real as one. Heaven is a metaphor for the womb, for childhood, a time when there were no worries, everything done for us. I seriously doubt that God has nothing better to do than cater to millions of adult babies

Hinduism wants u to be an adult-stop dreaming of running away, life is harsh? Well get to work & make it better! Stop dreaming of a sugar daddy to come & save u

  • @skatetennis123 There is no sugar daddy & we are not that weak, we are not damsels in distress looking for the knight in shining armor to come save us

Hindus die we come right back, we are not running away to make-believe castles in the air. We choose to stay with God - yes God is Here - & fight for a better earth. There is so much pain & suffering here, running away won't make that pain go away

Earn Praise From God by being strong, by choosing to stand ur ground, stand & fight!

  • @skatetennis123 " we should fear the consequences of comitting evil. that acts as a deterrent against people doing evil" Very well said, but realize that we are ALL God's children. What if ur child misbehaved? Would u beat him? Is that how ur child learns right from wrong? It used to happen a lot in the olden days-that's what ur religions reflect-values of an ancient time, when violence was met with violence. There was little law & order, so any evil act demanded instant punishment

  • @skatetennis123 In the olden days it was easy to for the strong to beat the weak&steal their money. There was no police, law like today, so those times demanded instant violent justice

But times have changed now-what do parents do today when a child misbehaves? Use that as a Teaching opportunity-teach the child right from wrong! the Non-violent way(Karma & Rebirth)-everyone benefits-the parent becomes a better parent, the child learns something new

An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind

  • @skatetennis123 kid grows up to be a good person? so he grows up & committs crimes. He goes to hell? While the prince goes to heaven? Does not seem right does it?

The African saying - it takes a village to raise a child - is very, very true. We are ALL responsible for the state of our society, our country, our world

Hinduism & Buddhism view this above issue differently

Buddhism: The above is what is called Karma-the prince Good Karma, the unfortunate accumulated bad Karma

    Buddhism, I think,

  • @skatetennis123 says that we are ALL responsible for what happened, not just an individual person. So if too many bad people are allowed to run amuck, the world will be saddled with bad karma& things get worse& vice versa

Hinduism:We think yes the society plays a role but individual responsibility also is important. There are no consequences of doing evil.Let me explain-Hinduism is a Teacher faith. if u don't study what happens?Nothing bad-a Teacher is not going to punish u, ur own actions will

  • @skatetennis123 So if u do bad, u will be reborn & given another chance to make up, maybe this time the unfortunate will be born as a prince & the prince born in unfortunate circumstances. But there is no pressure-just like the Teacher does not force his lessons on to his students, nothing in Hinduism is forced. This is a democratic faith, not a King religion(christianity/islam)-u are free to do what u want, but u can't beg & grovel ur way out, u made the mistake, u correct it!

  • @skatetennis123 Advantage/disadvantage

in religions like christianity/islam u are threatened with dire consequences if u do bad. But wait, there is this nice merciful God who will forgive u & off u go to heaven! yippee for u! But what about the victim who is still suffering? On this issue they have amnesia

Hinduism says no, u can't beg & grovel ur way out. U got an F - no, u may not beg for better grades. There is only way, the right way. Come back & correct ur mistakes. Do right by the victim

  • @ramaraksha01 in islam God will forgive you if you wrong yourself by not giving Him His rights, but if you wrong another person, it is said that God will not forgive you until you do right by them first. For example if a person is murdered, and they are otherwise righteous, or God was pleased with entering them into the garden, then they will not grieve over their having been murdered once they reach the final abode, and if it pleased God to forgive the murderer after the murderer truly repented

  • @skatetennis123 then the victim would be pleased with what God is pleased with. any mistakes are my own errors and i am not an authority on the religion of islam.

    peace

PS my grandparents and some of my family are hindus

  • @skatetennis123 "God to forgive the murderer after the murderer truly repented - see, i am seeing a lot of love for the criminal but total neglect for the victim. Great the murderer repented, how does it make a diff for the victim & his family? The family is still in pain, the murdered person might be the breadwinner of the family, now the family is destittute! Where is the justice for them?

Again & again I see ur religion as pandering to weakness-it is not for the strong. It tells u that all

  • @skatetennis123 the murderer has to do is repent & seek forgiveness from God? And why not from the victims' family? Well first of all, they may not be in a mood to give it! Second, they may demand compensation! The murderer may have to give up all his wealth!

let's not do that - let's take the easy way out-let's beg the nice merciful God for forgiveness! how nice for the criminal!

Again & again, I see a religion teaching u how to run away from doing the right thing

  • @meka1star1dream Search "Playing God:The loving psychopath" on Youtube. Just do it...check it out. That is who your god is. And you are just spewing the hatred that your god is involved in. It sounds like you actually HOPE and WISH that the world ends in terror and some people go to hell You actually HOPE for that. Sickening. I hope you think your way out of the cell your mind is in. Good luck with that. You are young and it sounds like your parents brainwashed you from the start.

  • @Jeffersonwazright what church do you go to the Atheism church

  • @meka1star1dream I attend NO church. I am just alive.....oh, and I guess I feel a little bad about you being 15 and hearing this from me...but I have to tell you............you need to hear it from someone. Your parents brainwashed you pal, they did. I know that sounds terrible and not something your parents would do to you but they did it buddy, they brainwashed you. You will hopefully learn this when you are older.

  • @meka1star1dream people who dont BELIEVE in jesus go where u say? hell? for not bowing down to jesus? hardly seems fair or loving

  • @urbanvibe209 the only reason why this is so true and people should believe because "JESUS" will give you life after death and thats the most precious gift that the lord can give us. the lord is trying to save us because he love us, he died for the worlds sins so we wouldnt have to face hell but if you reject the only gift that he offers us then yes you will go to hell.

  • @urbanvibe209 Do you believe in "HEAVEN" ??? if so then i will tell you this "Jesus" is the only way to get there.....if you accept Jesus and his gift then you have nothing to worry about. the more you learn about him then the more you will be able to understand, because i use to be a non believer as-well but i learn how to ACCEPT, BELIEVE, and LOVE JESUS......know that hes our only savior.

  • @meka1star1dream yes the nice guy who has nothing better to do than cater hand & foot to millions of selfish babies

Heaven is a metaphor for the womb, for childhood-a time when u had no worries, everything done for u. Poor God is saddled with milions of adult babies!

sorry u can't go back. There is no free lunch & u think u get free lunches, dinners for eternity?

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is

  • @Jeffersonwazright i dont think its just bein a (BAD) person, every person should know right from wrong and every person have a choice to be (BAD) or just being a sinner....so if you choose to be (BAD) over (Good) then yes its normal because thats just the way of human nature...but when ppl do stuff just because when you know its bad then thats Evil or Satan has sliped into this person heart....

  • @Jeffersonwazright okay you see this in a scientific aspect, i see it as a spiritual aspect......

i see "Good or Evil"/ Satan or God.....i simply look at life as God would look at earth. Okay you

speak of insane ppl and murderer, its a reason why these ppl do the thing they do because they allow a unclean spirit into their hearts.....

  • @meka1star1dream civilization. Being bad (not evil) is just how we were programmed. It has nothing to do with sin or original sin. Its just how we act in order to live as long as we can. Supposedly we are "9 missed meals from anarchy" which means if humans, any any country, miss 9 straight meals- anarchy will probably break out....no matter what. Humans will do anything to survive.....sometimes that involves being NOT VERY NICE to another human. We are stupid animals.

  • @meka1star1dream Ok, I need you to really think about what I am going to say to you....ok? There is more bad (not evil) because bad is how a living organism survives in hard times. The unfortunate truth about life on earth is that all of life is eating (to death) all other life. Life eats other life. Then we make up little rules like cannibalism and act like its bad. War is rampant because war is surivival. Unfortunatly the United States MUST keep the oil safe in Iraq or fear a break down of

  • @meka1star1dream I am sorry was the question posed to me or is this a general question. Logically it makes no sense. Why would anyone pray or worship the devil? I don't get it.

Ah u think only u are praying to the "right" God everyone else is a big fool & are wasting their time?

Sorry, Hinduism does not teach such hate.

  • @meka1star1dream Sorry if i offended you. I assume u just saw the title & did not really watch the video? Pl watch the video & let me know your thoughts. thanks.

  • i dont get it???

  • @meka1star1dream sorry for the late reply. I was out of the country on vacation.

Can u elaborate a bit? What is that u do not get? Explain a bit more & i will try to clarify. thanks.

  • Every human is given the chance to receive the glory of god. The ones who rejected Jesus Christ will die and be given what the think they want; a world without god(hell). This is no physical torture chamber; there is nothing morbid about it. It is simply spiritual torture because people who believed they were greater than god, are awakened. God is not condemning, he is ignoring, as he was ignored by those in hell who rejected his words. The bible speaks of spiritual flames without the one God

  • @meattastic1 These words could be coming out of any old dictator's mouth - so ur god has a big ego that can only be satisfied by cowering subjects? No torture? that's nice but looks like ur hell has gone PC, I don't think that's what is being said a few yrs ago.

Rama does not make such demands - He is not a simpleton King who demands loyalty or else. What matters to God Rama is our character, what we have done with our lives, how much have others benefitted by having us in their lives.

  • @meattastic1 God Rama's heart is so vast there is room for ALL Good people - Atheists, Agnostics, People from ALL Religious faiths, Klingons, whatever. U can have ur god with his backward ideas & SEGREGATED Heaven. That's not a Heaven i choose to enter. Besides our goal is higher - Heaven is a flesh pot - sex, booze & gluttony. Our goal is Moksha - Enlightenment of the Mind & the Heart! U can't beg & grovel for Moksha - it has to be EARNED!

  • @ramaraksha01 You make it sound as if you COULD earn such a thing. We have been blinded by sin, and we make the mistake of believing we can get to heaven ourselves. but Jesus came to save us from our pride. No one even deserves it, so God would do no wrong in rejecting someone into the kingdom, but he gives us the FREE GIFT if we choose to except it... if we ignore his calling our whole lives, he will ignore us on the day of judgment. With Christ in my heart, I feel truly enlightened

  • @meattastic1 Is that what u teach ur kids? Don't expect to earn anything? Why is that u christians abondon ur ethics & values at Heaven's door?

The santa claus God - happy to come save u - the easy way - just get down on ur knees, beg & grovel.

Obviously believing that u have to EARN God's grace means that we have to actually change our lifestyle, work hard, sacrifice, lead a good Truthful life, pay for what u take.

Our way if harder, tougher. Hinduism may not be for u. contd

  • @ramaraksha01 God sais that being saved is a minimum, and to really please him, we must do so by our works; faith without deeds is dead. We are humble servants of our loving God, and he says we will be rewarded if we are persecuted in this life for his sake- Mathew 5:10 "Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." He knows that his true followers will not have an easy life, but we will please him because we love him, not just for heaven

  • @meattastic1 would u still love him if u weren't expecting to be rewarded with a nice heaven? u are projecting - we all fear what will happen to us after we die, so we make up this nice god who will take care of us. These religions are exploiting ur need, telling u what u want to hear, like a good politician or a car salesman. Think about it - u live x yrs on this planet & then god has nothing better to do than feed, cloth & entertain billions for eternity? Why? because u begged & grovelled?

  • @meattastic1 What easy life? u are expecting an easy life after this - u have reduced God to a Sugar Daddy, ready to whisk u off to a nice 5star hotel in hawaii heaven. For eternity! yippee for me.

We Hindus think differently - we are not servants or slaves of God, we refuse to bow or kowtow to him. We Respect Her, We Love God but we want to show our love in a diff way. We refuse to be a burden on God, we choose to come back, we choose to stay. We think there is a point to life.

  • @meattastic1 Not just live X yrs & then spend retirement living off of God. We stay, we fight for a better earth. Kooky dictators, eathquakes, global warming, nuclear weapons - if it hasn't hit u yet, problems on earth are not going to be solved by a tooth fairy, they will be solved because of our hard work, fight, effort & sacrifice. We are ready to make those sacrifices, u go sit on ur butt or at least dream of doing so. U are one-and-done, after this life u will be just a spectator...

  • @meattastic1 reduced to watching us, whereas we will be down here, we will be doing God's work, we will be fighting for a better earth.

Any fool can sit & praise God, but Blessed are the Hindus that aim to Earn Praise FROM God! u can't earn praise from god dreaming of sitting on ur butt, in fact, it is a bit disgusting to think that u, an adult, think nothing of becoming a burden on someone else. U think God will like u for thinking like this? dream on.

  • @ramaraksha01

How can someone earn praise from something that does not even exist, no such things as god/gods, they are all made up by people.

  • @krissyeh U may be right. But we humans are not machines. Studies have found that there is less crime when life-size cutouts of policemen are placed in stores. U may choose not to do something bad because ur dead mother/father would disapprove. It's the same idea.

  • @ramaraksha01 All you religious nutters are the same, you are all deluded and brainwashed.

I don't do anything bad for my parents would disapprove, I don't do it for I know it is bad thing to do.

My mother is still alive thank you very bloody much.

  • @krissyeh It's not about you - you are supposed to think what would an average person do? or think, given a situation.

  • @meattastic1 We are the ones who are choosing to earn Praise FROM God! We are the ones choosing to fight earth's problems. We don't want to retire, we are here to work, to do God's work.

U have a choice to make - listen & blindly believe in wild promises - this religion doesn't even have a clue about how the solar system functions - u think they know about god?

    OR

Join us & fight for a better earth. We won't/can't promise u an easy life - that's how u know we are telling the Truth.

  • @meattastic1 Hinduism is for the Strong, the Brave & the Good. We don't think we get anything for Free - We believe in Earning God's grace, not begging & groveling for it. Your beliefs say a lot about you, about the type of person that u are. You are looking for a Sugar Daddy God, someone who will make things nice & easy for u, just by begging & groveling. I think u are going to be disappointed - there is no such person.

  • @ramaraksha01

PS: i don't know were you heard about heaven being about sex, booze and gluttony, but nothing could be further from the truth. You show me that verse and I'll believe you, but until then, don't make stuff up please

  • @meattastic1 As for Heaven - that comment was not directed at ur religion - there are a lot of diff opinions on heaven - some muslims say there are 72 virgins(sex) waiting for them.

But ultimately u get what u pay for - if u think u can get to heaven just by begging & groveling, don't expect great things. Don't expect Moksha - Moksha cannot be given nor begged for, it must always be EARNED! Moksha is the enlightenment of the Soul - the Mind & the Heart. Pl Don't settle for cheap pleasures.

  • When the word FEAR is spoken about god in the bible, it means respect him and understand his pure magnitude. "He breathed the stars." The most common words spoken in the bible are fear not."For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers.... will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:37-39)

  • @meattastic1 Same guy who condemns u to Eternal Hell if u don't comply? But i do love ur Bad Cop, Good Cop routine. The Bad Cop comes & tells people to be scared of the wrath of God & the Good Cops like u come around. Funny, the Good & Bad Cops never talk to each other.

Urs is a King Religion - God made in the image of a King - A pleasure palace for loyalists & a torture chamber for non. Very primitive & predictable.

  • Fear is very destructive, Fear can divide, harm and destroy. It causes anxiety, paranoia and dread. Anyone who thinks fear is productive needs to get their head examined

  • @bringonthewrath Exactly. I think most religions who use fear are backward & primitive. Olden days were really harsh - no real police or any protection from evil for regular folks unlike today - so a harsher God was needed, but that just shows that God was invented.

It just amazes me that Hinduism, so much older, has figured this out!

  • @ramaraksha01 It´s always very rewarding to see how someone recognizes religion and the figure of a god an invention of our own minds.
