When Jack was talking to the Arab Guy he was saying, you don't know of all the terrible things I have done, I took that as he was talking about his job and not his family. It was as if he had regrets or sorrow instead of thinking of the thousands of lives he had saved, the Presidentcy of Logan that he stopped. Lots of people have to live with the fact that they caused the death of a loved one in an accident that they were involved in.

How can it be an impossible choice to let 10 people die to save a hundred. Yes, there are times that situation comes up. In some places it is called triage and others it has to be done. Please stop apologizing for Bauer. The first President that runs that states he will do whatever necessary to Protect Americans and America will win hands down.  That is in the Constitution and that should be his position.

As I watch the Special Features and hear writers talking about their difficult job of writing scripts, I think WHAT. It appears they have gone extremely liberal and PC. I don't think Jack would have any regrets or doubts about the things he has done. I would gladly stand before God with his record.

I think he feels regret not over his actions, because if you watch the show he over and over says he does not regret his decisions. He regrets the way that it has torn his family apart. Jack was Jack this season, nothing changed.

Honestly, I like the character development, the choices, inner demons and all that.

But as far as the plot, constant up's and down's in pace, that part I didn't like.

I hope season 8 will change this.
