  • I have this stereo!

  • Damn nice maggie sitting there doing what they do best and I love it!!!

  • I have one of these, but don't know what stylus to order, it's not listed. mine is missing.

any help on the needle type?

  • @cbryantcrawford If you pop the cartridge outyou may find some numbers on it. Mine said EV-132 which means Electrovoice cartridge 132. Magnavox may have used other cartridges in 1963 but this was the most common I beleive.

If you go to Ebay and enter the cartridge number, replacement needles will show.

For the EV 132 any of the following will work:

    E-V 2619

    Magnavox 560306 or 560306-02

    Good luck!

  • You will never be disappointed with that, it's an excellent buy!! Looks like another Magnavox next to it too!

  • @64098 Thanks, I am very happy with it. I am trying to recap the radio section now and it's a challenge to get at a couple of the circuit boards,

Yes, that is a 1957 Magnavox next to it. It is a phono only and has the 10 Watt mono tube amp in it. It also sounds great. I also have a 1956 Magnavox with the super 25 watt tube amp, 15" , 12" and two horn speakers. I will have to make a video of it and post it here.

  • Sounds great!!
