  • breathtaking. I can actually see some old ladys grandkids pulling this out of a trunk in the attic

  • impressionnant que des bravossssssssssssssssss

  • Hi Rach0113 - I've just discovered your work. Wow! I'm very impressed! I'm sorry if this is a repeat question, but where did you find your central images (the little girl)? Thanks!

  • Do you download your fonts?

  • @jkmaus Yes, I sometimes use downloaded fonts in my art.

  • @RachO113 I also noticed that sometimes you use a glue stick to paste papers down and others times gel medium. Could you please tell me what is the difference? You are so inspiring as everyone says... Your work and these videos have helped and inspired me so much!!! I've always wanted to take art lessons but never had the opportunity. Thank you!

  • @jkmaus A glue stick is less permanent in some situations and papers applied with it can lift over time or if you use a heat gun over the top. That said, I find a glue stick more convenient for tiny pieces of text etc where a liquid adhesive is more dificult to work with. Gel medium is a fast, easy and reliable method to apply adhesive. It dries perfectly clear and will also form a protective film over the top of your work that will resist paint etc. It's all personal choice however.

  • love love love all of your videos!!! you are so amazingly talented... I am back in my studio because of your inspirations Thank you!! In this vintage banner i really love the "DREAM" stamp. It looks like it has the definition too. It also looks like you have a box of the clear acrylic with the L shape for lining them up... where can i get those? thanks again keep on making!!!

  • as always your the best

  • really stunning. i love the vintage look , and the colours you have used are gorgous. xx

  • Wow, this is breathtaking!!!! I was wondering if you waited for the Gesso to dry before going in with the distress inks? You deff. are the queen of texture my friend. AMAZING!!!

    hugs,

    Brook

  • @brooknrich Hi Brook, Yes, the gesso needs to be dry before adding inks to it, though it absorbs very quickly into chipboard and is almost dry by the time you have finished anyway - It can be dried completely with a heat gun :-)

  • You are definitely the queen of texture. Love all your videos, ideas and projects.

  • Beautiful!! Love the colours. Adore the little flowers you made, the lacey ones are sooo cute!! TFS :o) x

  • WOW!!!

  • No need to apologise for questions! The lace was gitfted to me, so I'm afraid I cannot help with the makers of that. The lace flowers were from ebay.co.uk - if you search crochet flowers you should find them, or see my haul vids, as I prbably mention the seller name there. The chipboard started as a piece of 6 x 6 I think, then cut into a triangle, and finally, the pocket is by spellbinders - It is called Seed Packet

  • Wonderful-as usual! Love the colors and images. I have several questions. Who makes the gorgeous lace trims? Are the lace flower centers cutouts from a piece of lace trim? What size is the chipboard banner and who makes the stencil pocket? Sorry for all the questions. I really love this!!! Thanks so much for sharing!

  • so awesome... u have the best stamps ever... love watching you work....

  • Rach, Another amazing piece done w/ the best attention to the tiniest details. Who makes the little center lace pieces you used on the flowers? Can't wait to see your next creation!

  • I'm curious about the "sponge" you're using with the distress inks. It looks more efficient than the standard tool.

  • @ajones038 The sponge I use is the Ranger cut n' dry foam (without the tool handle)

Can you please remind me the brand of the iridescent paint you use, if I'm not wrong I think it's a UK one?

    TFS

  • @hellokitty40000 The irridescent paints are Cosmic Shimmer brand watercolours.

  • I loved watching you create this wonderful banner art! I remembered how much I miss Bob Ross when you held that bottle up ;) I don't know about everyone else, but he was an inspiration to me!
