@supergamerocks It will work, I have a 5,1 and 2,1 hooked up like this, but as you increase 2,1's volume, the 5,1's decrease.. the the dude below said, cancel each other out.. however, if you have a very good (like the very best there are) soundcard, if would work ok :) first thing that goes is the thing that needs most power (the sub), so if my 2,1 and 5,1 are on ath the same time, both subs are playing, but nothing shakes :P

Well being a 16 year old kid kinda makes it hard for me to get the money to buy a decent sound card, so far the on board sound on my Gigabyte N6980SLI DQ6 motherboard does a pretty good job. And most bass especially sub bass is omnidirection (spelling?) so i can put the subs anywhere in my room it just so happens to sound the best atm with them on an angle and port to the corner. So i dont see how i have mucked it up when it sounds better where they are then anywhere else i have put them before.

hey nice stuff. BUT with a splitter the signal strengh to each set is exactly half of the normal one. so each speaker set reaches half the volume, so your total output is the same as 1 set. BUT each speaker has to amplify less so your quality is doubled :P

AND if you really want to have double volume from ur 2 sets, then connect the second one to ur second output on the sound card (exactly as you connect a 4.1 set). im gonna do this with 2 razer mako:P i currently have 1 mako and 1 soundsticks:S
