  • I never understood what Zappa was all about

  • @Grelin1999 So do I with almost everybody, but Zappa. You are lucky.

  • @Grelin1999

Zappa is about making intelligent, inspiring music with intelligent, inspiring lyrics with a very special, lovely kind of critical humour.

  • Looks a bit like BORAT :D

  • ...Having been one of those who bought both "Freak Out!" and "Absolutely Free" from the comic book ads, I still miss the frack out of Frank. The man was a musical genius and a 1st Amendment Defender like no other. If there is no Hell, Frank's created it just for Tipper Gore!

  • probably my favorite version of this tune.

  • the great american dream that never was never bobby brown. or was it?

  • Where was this filmed?

  • F.Zappa - the most adored western musician in last Czechoslovakia. You wont be forgotten buddy - your cz fans

  • il y as zappa et les autres;;;;;

  • this song deserves a video on mtv

  • @ghosterdude mtv sucks..

  • @ghosterdude Zappa is too much for some shitty channel like mtv, dude

  • @staingler yes, but we need to show the kids what's good.

  • @ghosterdude And you reckon MTV would put any decent music on it's programming schedule. It's not even a music channel anymore!! If the kids all want to listen to conservative chart shit that's up to them but mark my words; i'm not paying for their therapy in 20 years time!!

  • @RollingPeople97 of course not. problem is chart shit is conservative where is should and very liberal when it shouldn't

  • Excelente mis amigos, Zappa vive!!!

  • Tommy is great on this haha

  • What's up with the Swedish subtitles in the beginning?

  • Thank u Frank Zappa u sooo fantastic

  • i´ve seen this on TV once in the 70´s..Zappa is God!!!

  • Beautiful version! Sounds great with the keys.

  • Jesus lives !!!!

  • This guy was awesome in so many ways!!

  • Mr.NanaBlue, to fully appreciate Frank you should have rather been born in the 40s/50s.

His '60s period was the most fantastic Music Revolution in the story of Rock

  • And of course he has a cup of coffee to get down to!

  • This is what YouTube is all about! Sharing awesome videos like this that probably would disappear otherwise.

  • and the message is: lass dich nie manupulieren, dann geht's dir nie wie Bobby Brown! :-]

  • Frank Z.4ever!!!einfach nur eine legende!!!!hammer geiles video^^ bobby brown goes down^^ liebe das lied^^hängen ne menge geschichten aus meiner vergangenheit dranne^^mach weiter frank^^ fan4ever

  • I love this performance, it's a lot more like the original Mothers style. He focuses a lot on the singing style that reacts to the lyrics he sings. A song that will never die!

  • Frank is on of the best-------------

  • I like the 70s! Wished I was born then....Frank is soooo good.

  • Great Frank. Miss him so much...

  • Fantastic... thanks

  • just amazing!

look at the blunt swedish audience!

    frank succeeds it!

  • Acoustic Zappa is always such a rare treat.

  • thank you for posting this

  • ZAPPA was one of the most creative and fantastic musicians of all time. Unforgettable!!!

  • Thanks for posting! This was the world-premiere of Bobby Brown 1976 on a party in the house of print media in Vienna.

  • @pepipopupapa Actully, this is 1978. The documentary got it wrong. The actual premiere of Bobby Brown was on october 17, 1977, in Hartford. :)

  • @pepipopupapa Sure ? I thought Tommy Mars joined the Zappa band in 1977...

  • @Zappastorius 1977, thats right with the Zappa Band and Tommy as a fixed member there. This was at a party where the song was exceptional introduced to an audience by Zappa and Mars. Zappa was often working with various musicans inside and outside the Band at the same time looking for talents.

  • Man I miss him......

  • Great post! Thanks man a lot!

  • Super Raw~Like Tartar~Awesome
