I have been in this kind of storm before, but never knew it was on the edge of a tornado. Until I hit one in Mattoon Il. 2 or 3 weeks ago. The corn flat the trees were bent over. And I thought my truck (Semi) was going to be blown of the road. Was I scared? Yes. I thought I was going to get hit. I made a left then a right and came in behind it. This is the second time this year that's happened to me. I don['t like it. I love storms but not that. You can get killed in that.
He was one lucky, or God blessed, storm chaser! If he'd stayed right across from Jim Robertsons car dealership instead of driving down into Lakewood Estates he prob. would've been another casualty. Robertsons had several vehicles on the lot completely flipped over.
At the part where he was watching the house was that the wind that was moving his car? I can't believe how calm he is when it hits him, and how he was only a bit irritated at that slow mini-van... I know I would have been honking and cursing.

When you were parked on Hwy 157 also known as lake road, the last place you stopped before you got to Hwy 63 North. My house was a quarter mile from you to the southeast. We are surrounded by trees. All I saw was a mist of rain and 8 MPH wind. But our friends to our wet about 2 Mi. who also have trees surrounding their house had all of the trees twisted off half way down and amazingly none of them hit the house. And the house held together. Nice to see what we missed literally! Thanks for vid
