Another easy way to get to the .minecraft folder is to do

windows key+R ---> type in %appdata%/.minecraft

when i go to the minecraft i type the name and click enter game the window close and it says eror 57000 i don't remember and then i got the folder minecraft and there is only the bin and lastlogin what should i do so i can get all my files
