Back in the day when you could smoke on the airlines, the no smoking sign would automatically turn off as soon as the wheels were up and locked. (When the gear was selected down, and when it locked in place the no smoking sign would then automatically come on again). As smoking is not allowed any more, when the gear comes up and is locked in place, you will see the emergency exits signs de-illuminate and you hear that ding sound. (used to be for the no-smoking sign)

Nearly empty....guessed most pax destination were to Bangkok. Nobody really wants to go to Malaysia, tats why RJ and LH sells their BKK-KUL sector cheap
