My cats chatter when they look at birds through the window. People say it's because they're too excited. I'm not saying that's why she's chattering, though.
Still, I've never heard of a cat chattering when another cat is hissing. They would either be submissive or defensive and she looked laid back and relaxed.
@AnastaishaRIOT Cats chatter when they're excited but they also do it if you do something that displeases them or that they don't agree with. In this case it'd be the guy waking her up.
i found a baby calico kitten a few weeks ago...unfortunately it died on August 6th 2008. It died because of internal bleeding caused by cancer...Sammy was a great kitten..Calicos are very sweet...
