you have to have a larger amp altenator if you are running a 90 amp alt you cant runn that many battery,s it will fire the altenator and then it will burn your van to the ground you need some iraggi altenators

I would think about different batteries when you get the time. If you wanna get good batteries and don't wanna spend a lot of money you can go to your local carquest and ask for the ngt extreme batteries. They are the same as dekas. I would also think about some different amps for the lows. I just dont see the power acoustiks doin rated power. I have a Crunch GP 3000D amp and for the money you cant beat it and it puts out rated power plus some if you give it the voltage.

crazy story bout those batts I got all 6 of them for $200. I killed a cell in each of them cuz I was shaking my alt under the hood. didnt realize it wasn't charging batts in the back. ran like this for hole week until I started 2 noticed how lights were dimming. got alt fix batteries went back charging (even though 1 or more cell is gone out of each batt and put an order in for 4 kinetik hc2400's) went to show did 151.3 @ 19 hz (with bad batts) on TL but agree I need new batts

151.3 @ 19hz is crazy. My first pair of 15's were CVs. They are pretty good on the lows. I like my setup now but I am not getting the full power out of my amp because I would need four. I planned to put as much as six of them in there but I am about to get rid of them and just go for four 18's it will actually save some weight and make it easier to get the full power out of my amp.

whenit comes to these amps I only paid 300 each for them at 14.4 volts they will do 3100 watts rms @ 1 ohm and 4300 watts rms @1ohm when you give it 15.2 volts. So its like I really can't complain about these amps. you no what I mean. They say on the box it can only do 2300 @ 1 ohm @ norm voltage. Now the really crazy part bout these amps is that they are wired @ 2ohms at the moment and when I pulled that 151.3. So I can only image at 1 ohm. Cuz @ 2ohms they only push out 1250 watts rms.

man the box is comlplety braced with 2x4 and steel rods that go through the entire box plus it is all being fiberglassed so it is complety sealed

naw I'm running them PA. That stetsom was my boys amps. Don't under estimate PA. I have had them in the past (these 2 specifaccly) and bench tested them and both are underatted amps. the a3000db says it can push 2300 @ 1ohm but after testing it it gave out 3100rms @ 1ohm. The sl5500d is stated it can do 5500 @ 1ohm. after testing it it did like 5200 rms @ 1 ohm but see I will be running it at 2ohm though. certain PA amps can do what they say but then some don't also.
