this crap SUCKS!!! what rick james needs is Jonny gill, right? There is no bass guitar. And all drum machine. What rick needs is a drum machine! LOL this is some dude on a keyboard trying to sound like real instruments, likely half ricks age. This sounds like that crap "im still in love" by teena. But at least teena has an excuse, she just a singer, but rick is not. hes a musician. How could he let himself sound like a workstation motif keyboard made his whole album?

Love the contrast between Rick's powerful voice and the harmony of the chorus. Howard Hewett could sing the words from a packet of cornflakes and it would be superb. Lyrics are a bit simplistic but what the heck.

What an incredible song! I had only heard a few 30 second snippets from this CD. Seems like it took a while to get it out after Rick's death. Rick was a one of a kind talent. From the sound of this jam, Rick through all of the drugs, legal troubles, and health issues could still put it down to the very end.
