this trail is about 30 miles or so from my house in San Diego. I've ridden it probably around 15 times and everytime I get to that part of carrizo gorge I always think of Miles falling down this cliffside. Only rode on it once and it was just too much haha. But Miles is fine. He used to come in the shop I worked at regularly and told me about this back in 03 or 04. He's fine though. super nice guy.

Miles was riding just outside of San Diego with some of his friends from the San Diego Bicycle Club on an annual trip they take along a long closed railway and mining track. He did live and much to our surprise he was relatively OK. If I remember, he broke his scapula his wrist, a ton of bruising.....but he lived to ride another day.....
