That sounds like somewhere that I went, it was dark and quiet, cold, but not cold, with no noise and it felt sad, but not sad. I existed, but I felt trapped. I am not sure why it happened, especially when I had no trauma. I had this thing when I was a teenager where I used to loose consciousness when I would look up, but it does not happen any more. What I mentioned above happened when I was alseep, woke up and looked up toward the ceiling. It has not happened in my adulthood.

That was a scary NDE, but what you have is called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. So sorry to hear about this, but go ahead and keep sharing your story because it will help others understand should they ever get in that situation. As well as, it will help you heal. GOD bless you, and Know what you went through, I've been in 5 auto accidents and physically hit by 2 cars. I can still see the headlights of the car coming at me sometimes when I close my eyes.

when you're driving you must be alert, awake, not on the phone or fooling around. thats why people tell there stories, so we know better. there are so many fake drivers ed videos, that should scare that crap out of you, but to see someone in real life have life threatening conditions, no one wants that. im glad you're okay toddsquadxyz

I know the fear of "not waking up again" while you sleep. When you've been knocked unconscious and nearly killed, and then you come to with no clue whatsoever that you could have just been dead...forever. It feels not much different than when you go to sleep on any given night. Sometimes even during the day that feeling sneaks up, and you wonder whether you are about to wake up from some horrific accident...or never wake up again. It's scary because it's true; It will happen some day. Yikes!

A person I know was having the same dream every night. A dog would chase him. Always the same dog. Finally he was able to realize that he was dreaming and turned around and ask the dog who he was and why he was chasing him. The dog told him. In your dream there seems to be no one to talk to. So if you can realize you're dreaming try to remember to think of your hands...then ask one of your hands to produce a pen and paper and write the answer as to why you are dreaming this and what it means.

One time i got very ill,I wasn't aware how ill i was,and as i lied in my bed "sleeping" there was this suction or rush of wind and before i knew it,i was out of my body,floating above my bed and looking at my room. It took me awhile to realize what had happend. I told myself "remember this,remember everything and never forget!" so i tried to walk around and it didn't work and i was automatically pulled back to my body and i woke up and gasped for air.
When I drown and died I had a lot of reoccurring dreams regarding the accident. I hope making this was theraputic. I kept waiting for the part where you showed the part where you saw something... like a tunnel of light or showed images or long passed relatives. I remember talking to mine in my coma... and when I woke up felt this really warm sensation like a beautiful energy all over me. As I woke up, even though I hurt all over I remember looking up and seeing my living family and smiling.
i was in a bad car accident and died at the seen and when i come out of my body it was the most beautiful feeling you could ever imagen i diden't want to come back but there was a lady slapping my face to bring me back out of it next thing warm i was back into reality its not a hard thing to do dieing is peacful but i am a christian maybe if i wasn't id feel more like this guy here on this video as he said it wasent a good feeling.

I am doing research on NDE's for a paper in class, I am trying to figure out the whole NDE thing and yours caught my eye. R u saing you experianced death or had a true NDE? It was rather horrible. Actually yes, a bit of PTSD seems to come with the bundle :( I was young and strong and still barely lived through it. I was done with small sports cars after that :)
Well said! Actually, the first thing I asked for in the hospital once the amnesia wore off was my guitar. I wasn't sure if I could play. Thank goodness the fingers still work :)

Good question. Actually, it felt the same. Didn't realize I was dead until they brought me back and told me. Kind of like being in a large, dark, quite warehouse. Peaceful, but very quite and dim. Like a big building on powersave mode.

When I drown and died I had a lot of reoccurring dreams regarding the accident. I hope making this was theraputic. I kept waiting for the part where you showed the part where you saw something... like a tunnel of light or showed images or long passed relatives. I remember talking to mine in my coma... and when I woke up felt this really warm sensation like a beautiful energy all over me. As I woke up, even though I hurt all over I remember looking up and seeing my living family and smiling.

i was in a bad car accident and died at the seen and when i come out of my body it was the most beautiful feeling you could ever imagen i diden't want to come back but there was a lady slapping my face to bring me back out of it next thing warm i was back into reality its not a hard thing to do dieing is peacful but i am a christian maybe if i wasn't id feel more like this guy here on this video as he said it wasent a good feeling.

omg...its really incredible..i cant imagine that happening in our life...Its like when you're going to die , you are like NO!!! I STILL GOT MANY THINGS I'VE NVR DONE!!! Then u pass out..and then a moment later.. u woke up in a room..AND THAT IS SUCH A GREAT FEELING..U amazingly revived..I feel really happy for you and i hope that next time just beware of the traffics..its really unpredictable...After tis nearly death experience i hope that you can cherish every moment in your life..U're special.

Also, the blackness, while still being aware... a lot of NDE's experience that right before being taken to the light. Sounds like they brought you back before moving past that juncture.

Yup ;) I had amnesia and was worried I couldn't remember how to play guitar. I had a pal bring me my electric guitar in the hospital and was thrilled to find out I could still play :)

Todd, if you don't mind me asking, did you have a near death and seen nothing at all...what did you see? I am doing research on NDE's for a paper in class, I am trying to figure out the whole NDE thing and yours caught my eye. R u saing you experianced death or had a true NDE? Just a question, I do belive in the afterlife as well as NDE. I hope one day too stand in the light of the SON and bask in his glory too. GOD belss you and yours.

Thanks :) Actually yes. Nearly getting killed has a strange effect. I tend to see life as much more temporary. The needs of the moment often seem more important as well.

geez,thats horrible that happened to you =( sounds like you have or had pts disorder as well.. so, it was kinda like lights out! then bam! you were awake again after how long? btw, i cant see how anyone could have lived through that wreck! the car looks totally mangled! your a very lucky man!!

It was rather horrible. Actually yes, a bit of PTSD seems to come with the bundle :( I was young and strong and still barely lived through it. I was done with small sports cars after that :)

Good question. Actually, it felt the same. Didn't realize I was dead until they brought me back and told me. Kind of like being in a large, dark, quite warehouse. Peaceful, but very quite and dim. Like a big building on powersave mode.
