  • You inspire me!!

  • i was wondering if you would happen to know how much weight is healthy to loose a month for a 14 year old?

  • i dont have the need to lose weight at this point, but i just felt i it was necessary to mention that most high schools have gyms/fitness rooms. mine does and we use it a lot for xc , winter track, and will be using it for spring track.

  • you are beautiful

  • subbed! :))

  • I know that I have to lose at least 70 pounds so that I can be physically fit again. Being 5'3" and weighing as much as I do is nowhere near healthy. So hopefully I can lose all of the weight by early July. And i'm praying that I'll have the strength to accomplish my goal. I've been overweight pretty much since I was young. But now that I have the chance to get healthy, I am going to take it by the horns and hope that I don't crash into a wall. Haha

Thanks so much for posting this.

    God bless<3

  • you look really cute just the way you are now, why do you want to lose anymore weight?

  • you are so beautiful

  • i need to lose 20 pounds in 4 moths i hope these tips work i have tried everything but i always end up eating too much or things that are bad for me its so hard :(

  • great advice, especially about talking to a doctor when you start out. last year i was having the hardest time making any weight loss progress until i talked to my doctor. she gave me all kinds of great advice about how important healthy eating really is for weight loss and pinpointed what i was doing wrong with my eating habits. even if you don't have a lot to lose and think you know what you're doing, your doctor can be a great resource

  • @lyss222 exactly! great comment.

  • thanks! this video has helped me!! :D

  • @JustACurbsideProphet Way to go on your success so far with your methods. Since I sort of implied it, I'll quickly throw it in: I come from the Peleo sort of approach, so some of those aren't recommended by that. Phew! That's done. But yeah, I'm glad you are doing awesome (and that's really what counts).

Btw, I came from Shay Carl's latest ShayLoss video.

    Thanks for the video #Don'tForgetToBeAwesome!

  • OMG thank you for showing the card workout thats so fun!

  • @zhongyingkang Which language do you speak?

  • Congrats, you look so pretty! I'll try it out! Thanks for making this video :)

  • have you tried insanity? its a really good workout :)

  • In fact, sugary drinks (soda of any sort or juice of almost any sort) often have less calories than milk.

  • @wXingVinny yah if you drink whole milk skim is only 80 calories a cup

  • @wXingVinny I suppose some.. but milk is extremely beneficial for the body where as other sugary drinks are not.

  • I'm a recovered bulimic and watching these videos makes me so happy. You are such an intelligent girl, and you inspire me to be okay with who I am (I'm the exact height/weight as you). It is so amazing to see a teen be so level-headed about dieting/exercise...seriously every girl needs to hear from someone like you. Thank you so much for inspiring me <3.

  • @brittanyandjonas That awesome, I'm glad you are doing better. Thank you so much!

  • im 13 and i weight 114 - 116 and i'm 5'4. honestly, i don't feel all that comfortable with my body mainly my thighs and my butt. i eat salad at lunch practically everyday and i run track. ive always been healthy. i'd like to weigh 100 and my goal height when i get older is to be 5'9. ppl reading this would prob think i don't need to lose weight but.. when i dont eat as much nothing works for my legs. i am doing this for myself. what am i doing wrong? any thigh weight loss exercises?

  • @sabrinagrlx09 If You weigh 114 who cares!! You sound beautiful on the inside and out!! Your not even close to being big!!!! your way off!!! And to be 13!!! You dont need to loose any more!!!! Maybe Eat A big Mac And extra large fries!!! XD

  • @TheLovableButterfly i care. eating a big mac and extra large fries doesn't sound all that great to me, idk the last time i even ate fastfood. but it's not like i am forcing myself to not eat unhealthy things i just like eating chicken salads because they're actually good and i like them. i am not obsessing over the way i look. i am just saying that they're just goals of mine. but thanks anyway.

  • @TheLovableButterfly a Big Mac is not good for you, though. It's just filler that fills you up for a bit. The message she was trying to suggest in this video, is to eat stuff that is good for you :) Your car, your parent's car need the proper kind of gas to run on - so do you.

  • @sabrinagrlx09 Being 5'9 and 100 pounds is not healthy. 114-116 sounds great for your height, and if you're healthy the weight probably are mostly your muscles anyway.

  • @rewindrecolour65 i didn't mean being 5'9 and weighing 100 pounds at the same time.i meant i wanted to be either of those things. the problem is, my calves are kinda really big from running so much. on the other hand, my bestfrand is skinny and she is trying to gain weight but she ended up losing 3 lbs and she is below 100 lbs. mainly i am just unhappy with the way my legs look is all because i don't feel comfortable looking at them, is all.

  • I can't believe you are only 17. I wish more girls your age, or even my age 23, were even half as grounded as you are. Good job and best of luck to you <3

  • I had lost 40 lbs and then the holidays hit and I gained ten back, I'm in the process of getting that ten back off and then planning on losing some more. it's disappointing to gain it back. In a way it brought me down but it was also good because it made me realize how bad I DO NOT want that to happen again and it'll make me try even harder.

  • what kind of tea do you drink?

  • @musicmind147 usually peppermint or cranberry pomegranate!

  • omg i just watched your first video, wow! you have lost so much weight!x xx

  • This is rad, you've definitely inspired me!

  • I want to thank you so much for making this video! I have a really hard time keeping up a healthy diet and exercise routine. I have a habit of overeating and then starving myself. Or just starving myself for awhile which does nothing. So thank you so much!

  • jogging slowly for the whole time is better than running and walking in patterns.

also speed walking for an hour or two is actually amazing in toning.

i hope you are gradually increasing your incline as you run on the treadmill, running at no elevation doesn't do much for you.

  • milk is not good for you. just to let you know. try soymilk! it tastes great and is really good for you.

  • Thanks for posting this.... Today was the start of my diet, but that didnt work lol but im not giving up

  • love all your videos! :)

congrats on your weight loss, your truly inspirational.

  • @hopestoohighh thank you! <3

  • ur an amazing inspiration <3

  • @awesomecrazyspaz thank you love

  • This is a great video, right now I'm still struggling with trying to recover from an eating disorder.

  • @DanikaJadeee wow, thats rough. You're awesome for going through recovery. Keep it up <3

  • My goal is to loose 30 pounds by my graduation in june! thanks for this!

  • @haleyleelee good luck!

  • Omg! Congrats:) this video was really helpful and I need to lose 20 pounds before my senior year, so if u lost 40 in a year, I can probably do 20 by the time we have grad photos in November :) I just have control the stress eating :p and I love your hair it's soo long, weren't u thinking of dyeing it?

  • @RandomnessLivesHere good luck! I know you can do it :) And yes, I'm keeping it blonde for now. I might put a streak in my hair, I'm still unsure.

  • I think I am lacking motivation :/ inspiration :/

  • @WoahitsTasha you got this. do it for YOURSELF! If truly want to be healthier, that will be your main source of inspiration.

  • You're just ace! I've just lost 40 pounds and feel fab! Well done you xxx

  • @sianeee1000 nice! good job!

  • Thanks(: congrats for your weight loss!

  • @DylanLamuchcha thank you!

  • Congrats on your progress, you look lovely! For about a year starting in 2008 I was exercising 6 days/wk... I was 130-ish lbs when I started & wasn't unhappy with my body but exercising regularly gave me energy and improved my posture~ I lost more weight than I planned & even though I've slacked off and don't diet (I♥food) the weight has stayed off till now... But I might wake up one morning to discover that it's reappeared so maybe I should get back into my routine haha~

  • @elladee thats great! I notice better energy/posture too. Its nice when you can workout just to get the emotional benefits.

  • your so pretty <3

  • @badwolf7242 aw thank you <3

  • This helped alot alot alottt(:

  • @fromadreamersside glad it did! x

  • I'm 5''5 but 158 pounds, the thing is I look pretty slim, a lot of my friends who weigh less than me look bigger, I don't really understand why? Is it because I have a lot of muscle? Because I didn't think muscle weighed that much? Well done with your weight loss btw, you look great! :)X

  • @FinnM51 people's weight distributes differently and it might be because of height difference. me and my friend weigh the same but he legs look thinner than mine and she's about 2 inches taller. my bottom is a little heavier but i have skinnier arms and all that. plus muscle is denser which means it takes up less space than fat. i feel like a doctor now. i should stop. lol.

  • @killcreeks haha thanks! xx

  • @FinnM51 yes! like killcreeks said, weight is distributed differently on different people. Muscle weighs more than fat, so you can very well have a lot of muscle!

  • I'm 5'1" and 160 pounds and very super self conscious. I've been wanting to lose weight for so long but I just haven't had the motivation. But I'm getting unhappier and unhappier so I've been thinking I should really start a goal.

  • @FutureWisdom

Read my comment on this video. Its before yours.

We can do this! Dont give up. If you need a buddy then Im here for ya. :)

  • @FutureWisdom yes! make a reasonable goal. You don't have to dive straight into diet and exercise, maybe take it a bit slower by just working on your eating habits at first! Try eating in proportion for a week and see how you feel! good luck x

  • i loved this video! thanks :)

  • @MsBridgette13 you're welcome!

  • Ok please make a video just saying what you ate for breakfast lunch and dinner an what you did to workout because I'm 5"3 and weigh 168.

  • This is helpful :)

  • @ahhhndy yay! thats my goal :)

  • you really inspired me to lose weight last year, so far I've lost around 11 pounds!

  • @MusicAndLemons nice!

  • i eat out of boredom, i really need to stop that -_-

  • @dinobubbles I feel you

  • My doctor told me I needed to lose 50lbs. But the recommended pounds to be lost, is about 20. But I am definitely wanting to drop all of that within this year. The thing is, I do overeat. I snack all the time and one of the reasons I do it is because I do suffer from an emotional imbalancement. Whenever I feel sad or have a problem I tend to start snacking on junk food.

Right now I am changing all that: Diet, calorie intake, exercise, WATER consumption, and deal with my problems verbally. :)

  • @beneathyourlove I use to do that, to help change I would read a book when I was feeling sad or something. Just find things you like doing (beside eating) and it'll become a habit! good luck (:

  • @iSugarStrawberry

Hey, thank you for your comment.

I dont like working out but I do love dancing so Im going to substitute that for my over eating. I think my mom wants me to talk to a psychologist. But I'll see how I do within this year-depending if my sadness goes away or anything changes. Take care!

  • @beneathyourlove I struggle with emotional eating as well x Keep checking back with your doctor, they will help you so much. Sounds like you're a good dancer! The weight will come off as long as you keep dancing and eating healthy!

  • I am around the same weight you were at the start of ur weightloss and i am planning to lose 30-40 pounds by august. you have really helped me an inspired me to do well thankyou so much! :D

  • @XxDrewJetsonxX yay! you can do it! good luck x

  • Good on you for making the effort to change you weight. I lost 15 kilos (about 33 pounds) and have kept it off. I'm much more comfortable now. :)

  • @VintageSweetheart90 nice! good job!

  • thank u for the video <3

  • @Anoodishealthy2020 thank you for watching!

  • Awww, honey! I adore Shay Carl..good luck!!

  • Lovely video :) I really liked the points you made, especially about how weight loss is not a magic pill that makes you happy. Thank you for linking to my channel! :D

ps you are GORGEOUS and I'm a huge fan of vintage/used clothes - PROPS!

  • @antishay *mini heart attack* Shanti - you have no idea how much of an inspiration you have been to me! Thank you so much for your support. I hope things go well getting out of Texas!

  • Food inc. is nothinggg, you need to watch EARTHLINGS :)

  • @persianize I'm scared now hahaha

  • @JustACurbsideProphet haha it's only a few hours, and if you thought Food inc. was thought provoking, I think you might enjoy it, well, not enjoy it, but, you know...

  • Gonna try lose 30 pounds in 6 months. I've lost weight before and at my biggest I was 152lbs. Now I'm 138lbs and to get down to 110lbs would be my goal. I'm short too (around 5'2"/5'3") so its not too small for my height. And you look amazing! You are truly an inspiration- well done!x

  • @HarrietEmme congrats on the weight loss so far! keep it up! <3

  • Waiting no ... She said now she' s 5'4 . Lol

  • Actually She said 5'3

  • Can muscle milk cause you to gain weight?

  • @infiniteHOPE28 I haven't noticed any weight gain, but it does help build muscle, which weighs more than fat. So if you gain any weight it might be from the muscle you are building. It does have about 100 calories per scoop, so if you are going over your calorie limit because of using it... you might gain weight.

  • your the best.

when i see a new video of yours in my subscription im pumped to watch it. :3

i now loveeee thrifting :) i got this rad looney tunes baseball jacket and idk why but i thought of you because you get things similiar aha x

  • @ThePotatogems that sounds awesome! I'm jealous!

  • you look amazing!

  • @VAgirl100 thanks! you're sweet! <3

  • Wow! CONGRATS Lauren! That's crazy! Great job :) And thanks a lot for making this video! It really means a lot to hear advice from someone as down to earth as you! Very insprirational!

  • @KJRvegetarian thank you!

  • i really need to loose 10 pounds! :( but i binge eat like crazy so it's not good for me at all!

  • @babyimbulletproof I used to binge eat a lot too. no bueno :(

  • ah i seriously take advantage of my high metabolism..i DID enjoy this video though even though i couldn't relate much!

  • @irikegiraffes glad you watched anyways!

  • maybe try not to look at your weight in numbers/lbs anymore, since you wanna gain muscle-mass now. Because you will probably go up in lbs simply because you'll be gaining muscles (they weigh more than fat), even though you've actually lost fat :) try looking at how toned you're becoming in certain areas (arms/stomach/legs). sorry if that sounds wishy-washy!

  • Is your box instalation finished?! I would really really like to see it (I'm kinda waiting for it)! :-) It looks amazing!

I'm happy for you that you loss weight, or better said, I'm happy for you that you have the courage to change things in your life that you don't like. I know it's not the easiest thing...so have fun with the results! ;-)

  • @zwitterlein yes! Its finished! I've posted some pictures on my tumblr if you scroll a bit. And thank you for the weight bit!

  • Love you! And your vids

  • @KarenSandoval49 thank you!

  • This was very inspirational. Thank You so much for taking the time to give us some encouragement.

  • @imhereformusic thanks for watching!

  • @pancreasful she's 5'4" she said so in her video..

  • You are always so helpful, and you've motivated me to finally work out, so thank you so much!(:

  • @LoveJuliaGM sweet! keep up the motivation! <3

  • hi lovely, just want to know your height? :)

  • just what i needed

  • Thanks for making this video. I feel really motivated to lose some weight. You inspire me in so many ways and I love your channel!

  • @LaceandFringe <3 thank you! good luck!

  • I love you, your such a huge inspiration to me ! I'm so happy for you :)

  • @2521512215 thank you so much love!

  • your an inspiration! <3

  • @musicmind147 thank you darling!

  • `What's your lipstick color? :)

  • @starsarewhatweshare its in the description.

  • @starsarewhatweshare MAC lipstick in Hot Tahiti <3

  • You are so beautiful!

  • @TRSjulie thank you <3 <3

  • what are you wearing on your lips ? i love it

  • @xox1992 MAC lipstick in Hot Tahiti :)

  • Something that really helps for me is to eat the same exact thing every single day. Same breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner, and I also only eat chicken and turkey as far as meat goes. As for exercise goes, I usually walk/jog for thirty minutes on the treadmill while watching television and I turn on the radio and dance for three songs, take a two-song break, and then I dance for another three songs. I've lost ten pounds since January 1st, so, yeah. I have fun and it works pretty well. :)

  • @DreamingODaisyChains wow! thats dedication! sounds like you've got it figured out :) good luck!

  • @JustACurbsideProphet Thanks! It's a lot easier when you have no driver's license, no cash, and the only thing to eat/drink in the house is proportioned meals for two weeks, water, and organic apple juice, haha. I've kind of set myself up to force myself to be healthier, but it works. :) Plus, I have an anxiety disorder and may have bipolar ii disorder, so I have always overate when I was nervous, anxious, or depressed. So, it really works for me, although it might not for anyone else.

  • it is so inspiring to hear your experience (:

my weight has always been up and down over the years,

and my resolution is to live healthier this year and to finally lose the last of it !

  • @vickkicks yes! good luck! :)

  • Good for you!! (:

  • @irishgal700 thanks!

  • You're a beautiful girl inside and out :) that's all I wanted to say <3

  • @365cupsoftea thank you very much <3

  • I suggest that anyone who wants to lose wait but also gain muscle should watch BodyRockerTV youtube channel right now they are putting up new videos everyday for you to follow. I just discovered them and it the best workout out there for free right. Oh and as a warning the workouts are intense but they last about 12 min. Hope this helps somebody! Their channel name is charliejames1975

  • I would love it if you would do a Q&A video!

  • @EleganceOfRefusal1 I should do that!

  • You look absolutely beautiful, girl! I weigh about 130 right now, but I'm trying to get healthy and start eating right and incorporating exercise in my life. It's hard starting out, but after I watched this it helped so much. Thank you so much for all your tips!:)

  • @Maribabehh sounds great! thanks love!

  • was your intro with the wooden keyhole box thing you made? it looks awesome!

  • @sureempire yes! thanks <3

  • I was JUST about to search how to loose weight then I saw ur video in my sub box and it saved me a bunch of time of watching vidz having girls spit out the most ridiculous advice ever :P

Loved the video, it motivated me to continue trying to tone up for summer. I was kinda scared about trying a protein powder cause I thought it would make me gain weight but after you said it helps with the soarness I'm gonna give it a try =)

Do you feel it helps with the results ?

  • @wtfyamunaomg thanks girl! I haven't noticed any weight gain, but it does help build muscle, which weighs more than fat. So if you gain any weight it might be from the muscle you are building. Anyways, muscle milk SAVES me from being sore.

  • thanks a lot for this. I had a shit day and things like this remind me what I'm working towards :) And thanks for talking about seeing a doctor. When i started i was about 5'2" and weighed about 140 and i've lost 20 and i talked ti my doctor turned out there was more than my eating habits that affected my weight.

  • @05ALMA20 thank YOU! Thats awesome! Doctors are really the best people to talk to.

  • Were the same height and weight!

  • I'm so glad you made this video. I really wanted to lose weight, because my freshman 15 hit me, and I've since noticed I've been having less and less energy. I use to be able to enjoy physical activities such as daily walks and jogs. Now that I've gained weight i have to force myself to do those things. My goal is to lose enough weight to feel as energetic as I did before and because I also want to buy some disco pants , but don't want to feel like everyone would be staring and my thighs and bu

  • @Floralleggings I'm not looking forward to the freshman 15, I don't know what I'll do without my regular food haha. That sounds like a good goal!

  • thank god you posted this im trying to lose the weight i gained during break

  • @VanillaSmurfx good luck!

  • you are gorgeousss <3

  • @junebug6396 thank you <3

  • @CaptainTennell wow, thats AMAZING! Great job! <3

  • *Watching this while eating a giant chocolate cookie*

    You're awesome Lauren! What I've found really fun is taking a class with a friend, that really motivates me to exercise. Although I don't really like exercise, I do love dancing, so to those out there like me invest in a dancing game! They're fun and healthy too[;

  • @ShekinahShazaam hahaha! I just had a brownie, my b. I suck at dancing, but I want to pick it up! Sounds like one of the funnest ways to work out!

  • Oh, and a GREAT documentary on Netflix is Fat Head. It really helped put SOME things in perspective. I mean, I wouldn't recommend listening to any of these people 100%, because everybody skews things a little thing and here. But it's good to get different tips and info from different sources.

  • @BalmaholicTV Thanks for your comments! I'll check out Fat Head, I think I'll like it. Good luck with your own weight loss by the way, you're an awesome person in general so I'm sure it will work out.

  • thank you! i needed this<3
