Kid, I know it's hard to avoid 'cause your fingers are kinda small, but when you barre two or more strings, rest the finger on it's side, don't rest it with the inside of the finger parallel to the neck. (in other words, don't flatten the outer part of the finger while keeping the rest of the finger at an angle) You'll break your fingers/ligaments/tendons/all of the above. I am not kidding.
