  • I love Tim Burton and Danny Elfman together, they make a great team! I love this movie and all of his others!!

  • TOP TIM BURTON'S FILMS IN MY OPINION:

    1) Edward Scissorhands

    2) Sleepy Hollow

    3) Sweeney Todd: the demon barber of Fleet Street

    4) Alice In Wonderland

  • @tountouris Your #1 and 3 are correct, but over done Sleepy Hollow? And Wonderland is trash. He ruined that almost as bad as he ruined Wonka

  • @nny2dope I agree with you, I think Coraline and James and the giant peach should be on that list instead. I was so mad about Alice also... Can't mess with an original like Willy Wonka.

  • LUV THIS MUSIC

  • I love the Burton's opening sequences so much <3

  • I love it ,love it ,love it ,I cry every time I hear this :,)

  • I was Five Years old when this came out.

  • THE SOUND OF ENCHANTMENT!!!!!

  • I love this movie, one of my favorite ever,i love the old tim burton...but now is the shit inself!

  • back to my beautiful childhood, ahhhhh,no sparkling vampires and no justin bieber ,miss those days :'(

  • notice johnny depp stared in almost every tim burton movie :}

  • VINCENT PRICE ,,,VINCENT PRICE ,,, VINJCENT PRICE,,,NEVER FORGET YOU

  • Hermosa la melodía!

  • trop belle musique et tres beau film!!!!! jadore :D

  • My god what happened to Tim Burton .. I've been a fan of his for years .. I remember when batman came out I was like 2 or three but I remember watching that and when this came out we all watched it. I mean take this and compare it to the crap he's directed now .. kinda sad :(

  • @chasey88 You mean the Alice-Movie? I was kinda disappointed by that. I expected more from him.

  • @Xanila what about Sweeney Todd.. I was a lot disappointed...

  • @Xanila what about BigFish? I thought that was pretty original.

  • @chasey88 Well, I think that Sweeney Todd was a masterpiece, one of Burtons best.

And I love Big Fish, such a great story!

He still very amazing and good, sure maybe his latest movies aren't as good as his early work but his still one of the most original directors out there. His magic is still there so to say!

And I love Edward Scissorhands, its his best movie. Fantastic work of art!

  • This reminds me of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Batman Returns"

  • @LordSchrader That's because Danny Elfman wrote the music for nightmare and Batman Returns.

  • Stan Winston worked on this film? :) ...

AH Bo Welch, the guy who killed The Cat in the Hat! :(

  • The MOST beautiful and magical movie EVER.

  • I love this begining so much because when ever my cat would hear it his hair would is to the ceiling and run away. He does the same thing for a song by Lordi.

  • I love this song and one of my friends sisters is on a dance competition team where they do this song and a guy lifts this girl up and she doesn't touch the floor until the very end of the song.all the girls in the dance do this thing where they are in the form of stairs and she walks up them. its purty darn cool

  • tim burton and danny elfman are real partners!

  • I love when the cookies begin flashing on the screen then suddenly they all appear, falling... :D

  • DANNY MUDAFUCKING ELFMAN!!!!!!!!! one of the greatest composer of our time!!!!!! he did the simpson's theme, tales from the crypt, beetlejuice, and a whole lot of music for bad ass movies!!!

  • @patovhell666

Don't forget Batman and Batman Returns. Some of Danny's BEST work in my opinion. He actually won a Grammy for his score to Batman.

  • @SlasherIncorporated Hell yeah!!!!! How can I forget!!!!

  • i SOOOOOOOOOOO want to see this! do oyu thin kit would be in a rented movie store like blockbuster or whatever?

  • @Edkax3 Try checking out a Suncoast store near you

  • The first time I watched this movie, I was 6years old, and it remember I was so freaking scary with Edward,! xD

  • and know i love movies of Tim Burton....life is funny!ahhaah )sorry i forget to tell this..

  • Edward is scary? how can you think that? or did you think he was scary at the time?

  • What is the name of the song? composser?

  • go watch it again, it says "Music By: Danny Elfman" also says in the description

  • We're studying this movie in english, I'm doing media studies.

I love this movie so much.

  • Wish I could join your studies. Sounds interesting and this movie is one of my faves.

  • wow! this is so cool!

  • AHHHH! Edward scissorhands has become a reality! Near my school there's a hill that looks like the one in the movie, and A few days ago it was snowing and I could've sworn the snow was coming from the hill, and today when I looked out the window of the school I saw a man covered in black running up the hill!

  • Haha, really sarah?

    You should've told me!

I'm pretty sure it was just someone on their everyday run or something. :3

  • Shucks, sometime I want to see what's on that hill though.

  • Er,

    we've been there before, remember?

    Swimming? FieldTrip? Ring a bell?

  • no the part where all thre trees are, like at the VERY top.

  • Oh, yeah. We've never been there.

    Maybe Johnny Depp lives there!

( Faints ) That would be cool.

The music in this intro is spooky.

  • Goodness I thought I fell in love with E.S so much it became reality because I don't remember that hill being there before i became a fan. :p

  • That happened to me once. And I live in Southern California.

  • cool, but there can be only one Edward scissorhands. :( which one of us saw the real one?

  • I always the thought the cookie-baking invention was so cool in this movie.

  • This movie makes me cry every time i see it.

  • We have to write an essay on the opening of Edward Scissorhands, from the 20th century fox icon to the scene where Peg enters the castle, so this has really helped me to remember the music/font and everything, Thank god for youtube!

  • Damn, what class ARE you in to be so lucky as to have such an awesome assignment????

  • Not so lucky, trust me. When you've watched the same bit about 10 times, you get bored. And some stupid people in other classes have written about 7 pages, so there's high expectations. I can see i'm going to be spending all weekend writing this essay, and that is NOT fun - however much you like Edward Scissorhands...

  • The movie intro music sounds so magical

  • does anyonee knoww where i can find the ENTIRE movie?? there are videos that say they are the full movie but they arent and i reallyyyyyyyyyyyyy wanna see it! please help~

  • @jeph0091

Trying downloading it on Limewire (if you have it). Shouldn't be too hard to find.

    That's what I did.

  • @jeph0091 How about buying it ? It's a real piece of art, that deserves being bought.

  • I'll never forget the first time i watched this movie on christmas eve.

  • This movie bore me to sad and happy tears!!! *sniffs* But I haven't seen it since I was just a little girl!!! and my uncle almost bought it for me for last Christmas but he didn't!!! :'( *sobs hard*
