I would go to the book store invesntory list and notice that the phenomenon plays out everywhere. Take a tabulation of the books that are on the shelf now....then take a tabulation of the books that were on the shelf in say May of 2008, December of 2005, January of 2000, March of 2003. There was a blanketing investment theme that books were pushing at all those periods of time. EVERY ONE of those themes was dead wrong. It is a wonder the crowd can ever get it straight.
