yo we drove 10 hours that day to go see them, AND it was my first concert ever! i dont' think i'll ever be able to top that and if they ever come back around im going without a doubt, best show, INSANE energy front to back
yeah i was booing at the top of my lungs whenever zack said shitcago, the fibs in the audience seemed proud but there were more cheeseheads around..... what 1hour and 45 minutes compared to 20 minutes chicago blows!
At least our state has a real city. Only Wisconsin could create a backup causing an 8 mile ride to take over 3 hours into the venue. Nice parking lot too, a giant mud pit causing tons of cars to get stuck, what a piece of shit that place is.
I don't know why they chose Alpine for their only Midwest stop. I'm sure it was Live Nation that made that call. It's in a terrible location, traffic management is a joke, and having a grass field parking lot is asking for trouble when you have a lot of rain. Hopefully Rage will stay together, release a new album, and do a North American tour coming to a real tour stop, Chicago.
chicago is probably the coolest city of that size in the entire country, love it to death every time i go there
i drove from michigan where last call is 2am and i cant talk shit about a place WHERE THE BARS NEVER CLOSE! motherfucking wisconsin, beer at every gas station, 3 dollar smokes, and slot machines in every bar
and alpine valley is technically in WI, but it's practically in the chicagoland area too. there's really no basis for an argument
how is it in the chicagoland area? Its more in the Milwaukee-land area dont you think? its north of milwaukee so i dont see how it relates to chicago. not to mention the fact that alpine valley is in east troy which is pretty much all fields. And chicago is pretty much all buildings and concrete. so get your facts right
ha i had the same problem keeping my feet like the camera guy did. muddy as hell but the best show i've ever been to.

The best show EVER. No fancy light show needed. They just came out, plugged in and kicked 36,000 asses.
I USED to think Tool had the best show.
