@aaaaddddaaa Okay so i tried to read it but couldnt finish it..after reading anatomy of boyfriend i just didn't really like forever.for like 2 reasons 1. they didn't have as much of a connection and 2. aob was just so much better!

I really liked it i hate to say since i'm only 12 when I read it i felt like i wa in Katherine shoes but it's sa how Kahterine and micheal breakup at the end.

just finished it today. im 14.. i thought it was very well written. judy did such a good job on it.. made me cry a little in the end.. i guess i could kinda relate to it. good book. 5 star rating from moi:)

Michael was controlling, patronising and sexually demanding. Katherine couldn't see it but her parents could and they succeeded in breaking them up by fixing Katherine up with a job on a summer camp which her younger sister was attending. Her parents were pretty liberal though and turned a blind eye to their sexual experimentations under their own roof for fear of causing arguments.

Ironically Katherine's first boyfriend was also sexually demanding but got dumpe for it.

The friends were pushed aside because Katherine was seeing Michael every spare moment she had when she wasn't at school or working in her part time job. Even Erica her closest friend could only see her when they made up a foursome with Michael's friend Artie who wasn't that keen on Erica which Erica found frustrating. Even when they double dated the couples seperated into different rooms.

It was surprising that Katherine managed to graduate since she wasn't studying much.

Forever was a great book, I read it when I was in High School, a long time ago. I am now 46.

Have you read Summer Sisters, that is a good one too, I have also read Wifey, ( that is more for adults) I read that one too when I was in High School.

I don't like that some schools are banning Judy Blume books, that is completely

Yes, it was a Movie, it was a made for TV movie back in 1979 or 1980. It was good, but the book is much better.

I just read this book my friend recomended it to me cuzz it had some funny parts in it. but when i read it i loved it not only for that haha. it was a awsome book from beginning to end

Check out IMBD. Like I said in another posting it was Made For TV, but I am sure you will be able to find it on DVD, check out amazon.

If you have the chance read Summer Sisters and Wifey, both by Judy Blume and excellent.

I agree with girlpeac3 tho. The ended pissed me off also. U wanted them to be forever but I guess Judy Blume was a realist and wanted to make it seem more human as oppose to fairytale like.

All in all one of my top 5 books.
