  • I want to get a review of this case but I don't want to listen to this Mexican.

  • You didn't say anything about the DVD drive slots. Do they need rails?

  • Good review. You need better lighting, though.

  • I love how you think its a PLUS to not have sharp edges.

computer case manufacturers need a fucking smack acrosst the face.

you say thanks for spending your hard earned money without curring your hands open.

  • Good review keep it coming. You are showing off all important things.5 Stars

  • what's the name of the song at the beginning?

  • I don't have seen the new p193 yet so cant say yet. I guess that it should be even better then this case.

  • hahaha, this sounds like he is working as a steward on a airplane ;)

    No offence :)

  • Ironicly, the Gamer series of Antec seriously fail for having big GFX cards such as my gtx295 so if you're going big, this case is just ace have it myself.

  • You posted a month ago but the antec 300, 900 and 1200 all support 11.5" cards

  • I really like this slick design, but it's quite expensive for a no PSU case, also the door doesn't seem solid and i don't see the interest to have one if i want to use frontal fans what is necessary for a good cooling.

I think, i will go for a simple, sober and cheaper "Antec Three Hundred!"

  • the 902 has better cooling but this is more quiet.

  • whats better this case or antec 902?

  • I decided to buy the P182 because it is very quite and still have good cooling. Tho if you want to overclock or if you are a temperature freak, get the 902.

  • Good review. However, I have a question. Will a geforce gtx 260 core 216 superclocked edition fit?

  • The pre-installed Antec TriCool fans are terrible, in particular the fan at the top of the case. It rattles. All fans are loud even at "low" setting. Good case, overpriced, no PSU, immediately useless fans

  • Eww that spoiler makes it ugly. Is it removable? And are those vents at the front of the case enough for the fans to take in when the door is closed?

  • this case is beautiful, but i wonder if a front panel fan controller will fit with the cover on?

  • NICE REVIEW

  • Are the fan speed controllers compatible with other fans or are they part of the TriCool fans?

  • They're part of it.

  • i dont know why but i dont like this case at all, it looks teribly cheep.I would rather go with the 900 or if i would really have to go with this one i would go with the p182se

  • any gfx will fit in sli.

the upper hdd case wont fit in when using verry large gfx.

there is NO space for a 120 mm fan in front of the lower hdd case. you can put a 92mm fan there. decoupleing it acuusticaly from the rost is difficult, but possible.

the upper fan is not can can not be decoupled from the case, so this fan will be loud no matter how expensive. to make the case silent, remove it and cover the hole.

one 120 mm rear fan will be enugh anyway.

verry good case, but 2 expensive imo.

  • very good review

    upload more, your good!

  • I have a HD 4870 X2. Does it fit in the case? Is it possible to give in 2 HD 4870 X2s?

  • yes, but you may have to remove the top hard drive cage

  • Its exactly 10.5" from the rear of the case to the HD case when you install a hard drive. Measure the card and see how long it is. See my review of this case if you wanna see it with stuff installed.

  • great case !

  • could two 9800 gtx fit in there??????

  • You can remove hdd cage and put hdd in 5.25 with original adapter so yes, you can fit 2 in a row :)

  • Could i install a fan on the hard drive cage compartment if i removed the compartment? I want to install a 9800gtx but will need to remove the compartment.

  • This guy should get some fat a lil bit...

  • The case gets the "Super Hot" award dispite all of it's fans.

  • WHat do you mean?

    Default fans are loud?

  • no, it was a play on words. Since it has many fans you'd think it'd be cool (as in cold), but it gets the SUPER HOT award.

  • how skinny is this guy???

  • I'm going to get this case soon, but I am debating weather or not I will add a side window. How thick are the side panels?

  • Nice porn music at the begin of the video :D

Review was good too, keep up good work buddy

  • Bahaha it so is porn music, Good call :P

  • The case is sexy. Maybe that's why it got the "Super Hot" award

  • Oh yeah xD

  • Will a 9800GTX GPU fit in there?

Also.. did you ever find it annoying to have to open the door to insert CDs and turn it on?

  • I'm getting a PC with it soon, and to turn it on it will be annoying to have the power button behind the door, but CD bays won't annoy me.

But remember, the door can be swung all the way over unlike other case with doors to the 5.25" bays, so it won't be as annoying.

  • EEEEEEEEEEASILY!! As long as u take out that hard drive bay, see how much room there is? Like 4 inches left :D

  • I believe a 9800GTX will fit. It'd extend go into one of the 3.5" bays though. Also, I like the door because when I had my old computer, it was under my desk. I found myself accidentally kicking the power button. So I now have a case with a very strong aluminum door held with two magnets. Now there's no way I turn off my system! (But my toenails scratch the door alot. ;)

  • Mounting vertically or Horizontally doesn;t make a difference as long as the hard drives are mounted properly. The hard drive will only skip if you jerk or bump the case against something and the hard drive is mounted unsecurly whether it be vertical or horizontal.

  • P182's front door sucks. There's only two small plastic things that keeps the door in case and they break very easily.

  • Again, mounting your harddrives vertically is the stupidest thing you can do. Trust me, they will die on you sooner than the horizontally mounted ones. This is therefore a stupid design.

  • Well, I use this case for my game-system and I was forced to install them vertically due to my 8800GTX taking alot of place. I have had no problems with my harddrives(and I hope I don't get any).

  • Meowbay you imbecile. Vertical hdd mounting may have been a problem 10 years ago, before you were born, but not today.

  • OF COURSE HORIZONTAL IS ALWAYS BEST! This is not space, there is no vacuum here, we have gravity, you know?

Trust me, it still is a problem. Of course, no brand will tell you that, because all they want is for your disk to wear off in 5 years time so they sell more disks. You're really dumb if you don't know why vertical mounting is not the best option.

  • Do a search on Scott Moulton here on YouTube, listen to his talks and learn how and why harddisks are still most stable and long-lasting when horizontal.

  • @JTMarlin8 By the way, I'm from 1966, so I have a little more experience than you think administrating data and managing HDDs. I'm in IT for over 25 years already.

  • I agree, I'd rather have them horizontally. It's especially strange that they don't seem to know where to go with this; Half of them vertical, half of them horizontal? WTF? Indeed, horizontal is best.

  • @Meowbay I am using this case now for 3 years+ and I have currently 3hdd's vertically and before even had 4. Not one of them has died yet. This is the first case I have brought where the case actually has a fan to cool the hdd's, a vertically cooled hdd will last longer than a horizontal uncooled hdd.

  • @chrcoluk That is incorrect, a horizontally mounted harddrive will *always* cause less internal friction. Think of it as a turntable. If you would turn that sideways, not only would gravity pull the arm and needle to one side, it takes more power to hold it and bring it where it should be. Vertical mounting of harddrives is asking for bad blocks and premature deterioration. Cooling has nothing to do with this.

  • @Meowbay That is totally dependent on the HDD and its engineering. It definitely is no longer a problem.

  • i think his name should be Darth (Vader)

    not Darthkatsz...haha

btw can anyone recommend a quality power supply for this case that has long enough cables????????????

  • Look for Be Quit power supplies. They are very good.

  • WTF is your problem!

    You're not even English!

If you can do it better, show it to me in a video!!

  • If you want to be picky, lucaferr, about punctuation, then please do not use speech marks for "the", instead use 'the'.

    You fucking dumbass. :L

  • can it fit a Scythe NINJA?

  • nice porn music in the beginning.

but I purchased the 900 rather than this.. my friend owns this case and it gave him a hard time when installing his 8800 GTS because of it's length.

the 900 has more cooling and has more inner space. but this has the handy feature of a door and more antivibration. how ever, the 900 has rubber grips on the bottom of the psu spot for anti-vib.

    nice review tweakz.

  • When using the upper hard drive cage as an air duct, what size fan is being attached? Is it also 120mm?

  • Yes, its 120mm

  • casefans could be better ;I damn tricools

  • Nice, I just bought this case for $60 shipped after the rebates and newegg promo code.

  • Me too!

  • 60 dollars?? no way! holy crap i paid 180+ for this baby.. lolz

  • Does this fit a thermalright ultra 120 extreme + 8800GTS 512MB?

And is it better than the Antec 900?

    Nice video though, thanks alot.

  • It does fit a thermalright ultra 120 extreme + 8800GTS 512MB.

It's much better than the Antec 900, but it's also much more expensive.

  • Alright thanks, after looking at some more reviews I will proberbly go for this instead of the 900, just cause it is much more quiter / has more space.

Also just wondering if you could comment on the ammount of noise it makes with the stock fans on medium. Thanks

  • would you say the antec p190 is larger than this?

and regardless of price which case should i go for

    antec p190

    or

    antec p182

  • The p190 is much larger and comes with 2 PSU's. I think you should go for the p182, because it's better for a home-pc.

  • How many fans total can this case hold? I'm buying two extra for the front but can it hold any more than that? I'm using a 5.25" bay cooler for my hard drive so I do not need either of the hard drive cages

  • I'm planning to buy this PSU: Ultra X2 750W Modular Power Supply. Take note that this power supply have its fan on top!

Will this fit the PSU compartment of this case?

  • Yes, both PSU's woth top and bottom fan will fitt.

The Ultra X2 has his fan at the bottom. They just turn the show the fan for the pictures.

  • There is a major issue with tight distance between the newer bulkier video card and motherboard apparently. Can this case support two video cards without interfering heat dissipation and motherboard?

  • The only problem with the bulkier video cards, is that if you install them in this case, you cannot install a fan or hard drives in the removable hdd-tray at the upper compartment.

  • Doest it support water cooling system?

  • You should chek the size of the pump before buying a water cooling kit.

  • Question here: Since the power supply will be located at the bottom compartment, can I install a PSU with their fans located at the top/bottom? Or this only accepts a PSU with its fan located at the back, thanks.

  • The PSU that I use has a fan at the bottom. The air from the fan blows tru the bottom compartment for better airflow.

  • nice review . ill prolli get one on friday ..

  • o man what a great case, and thank god for not putting in tool less crap i hate that the GPU isn't even secure so transport isn't good i would give this case a 10/10

  • thanks buddy, im getting a new computer soon and getting the 8800GTS 512mb, and thinking about this case :)

  • how well would a 8800 GTS fit in here? thanks.

  • It shure will! You can even putt four ultras in if you want:). This case is huge!

  • I have this case and my 8800GTS fits perfect, great case but big. The 2 dustfilters at the front are super.

  • I dont want flaming for this, but you just sound like 3dgameman with a different accent, try to make yourself not sound like copying 3dgameman, I know, its easier said than done but its like a cloan, no offence intended.

  • Yeah its awful 3dgameman style, but that is not nescesarily a critism. overall this was a 'kickass' review ;) lol

  • yeah, 3dgame man with massive accent ahah. SUPER HOT AWARD.

  • Informative review, all I can critize though it was a tad boring, perhaps background music/sounds, and/or some sort of flashy video editting (more enthusiasm?). However, even though you had a strong accent (I'm American), it was still very clear and I understood everything, which I like a lot.

  • Thank you, I will get this case for my next build.

  • definately do. I got it a few months ago for my current build.... best build quality ive ever seen in a case. well worth it :)

  • Thank you.

  • how would i go about putting a 8800 GTX in one of these?

  • It will fit, JUST.

  • I have it just got it last week. Sexiest case on the market.

  • Indeed very informative.

However, the structure of the review is identical to the review done by "3DGameMan".

I'm not blaming you, this is well done.

  • Yeah, I'm a huge fan of 3DGameMan.

    I began taking his example.

For the newest reviews I'm doing my best to find my own style.

  • Ordered it yesterday:D

  • you wont be dissapointed :)

  • Very nice review

  • Very informative video.

    Thank you.

  • thank you for demo
