I am grateful for the actions of the Muskingum County Sheriff's Dept. The outcome was sad for the animals, but no human life was lost. These deputies did not enjoy this situation, they were fighting for their lives and for the lives of the citizens they swore to protect. The governor and legislators of the state of Ohio are to blame for utter lack of laws that could have prevented this situation.

So how can they enforce something that isn't there in the first place. Also once again if you would have LISTENED The sheriff said he talked to the caretaker and there have NOT been any Giraffs or CAMELS on the property recently. Meaning no dead giraffs just meat eating blood thirsty animals :-) Do your research.

U try tranquilizing an adult Grizzly bear or Lion etc at Night(when most were killed) in the rain. The do NOT just drop an animal tranquilized captive still paces quite a while b4 dropping. in the wild you usually have to track them and run the risk of loosing it.

These animals were near a town of 25,000. 1 woman spotted an adult male Lion in her bkyard. That women has kids. Ppl were freaking out. I can tell u these officers would NOT have been able to find, tranq, make sure they were totally out, arrange transport, etc.... all in 1 nite. The longer they're free the more danger
