ATI Radeon 4870X2 MORE GOOD COOLING

There is a solution especially for this card, from arctic cooling. Google: Arctic Cooling intro Accelero XTREME 4870X2 cooler .Else, an other solution is to change case to something like Coolermaster HAF 932 with the 4X120cm side fans. This would be a strong solution.

Sapphire... ma pisam-as pe compania asta nenorocita. Am nimerit o serie de producție de mai tot rahatul. Mi-a dat de cap pana am descoperit ce problema avea și a trebuit sa-i flash și nush mai ce.

Quite a nice sistem , 27 C is verry good but what temperature do you have in the room , is this in summer or winter. My Hd 4850 stayed at 30 C in winter and now (10/may) it's about 33 C idle and today after playing Test Drive for 40 min it's at a max of 57 C :P.

Also what did you use to cut the bottom of the case for that vent hole ??

you should list your complete system specs. i was more surprised at how fast it minimized the game when you pressed windows key than the temperature. i have a pretty beast pc, and when i play cod waw and i press the windows key it takes about 10 seconds before the game completely minimizes

Haha am observat ca nici nu-ti plac persoanele care sunt "fanboys". Eu folosesc ca desktop Intel - Nvidia si ca portabilitate AMD - ATi, nu am nimic impotriva celor de la AMD sau celor de la Intel. Insa sunt anumite domenii care le diferentiaza ( Editari Video si Photo , Renderizari etc,) si pentru persoanele care conteaza aceasta diferentiere sunt dispusi sa plateasca banii in plus.

anyways, awesome setup, and those are good temps...my system stays around 40C (110F). i go exclusively ASUS for my motherboards, but MSI is also a good brand. i at one time had a Radeon 7000 series Sapphire video card for my older Duron, but it didn't work out so good (AGP slot issue, probably)
