Here in australia on gay pride day we march down the main streets and march to a venue manly parks, which are set up with lights big screens and stages of entertainment dance floors. DJ's all throughout the day it was WICKED.

i think the point is familiarity and inclusion, u may be included in the human race but sometimes it is too hard to find similarities with a lot of people bc they display differences in the traits u mention, making it harder to be friends etc. you do it yourself. you have made friends on the basis of preference e.g. they like the same music as you so u "click well." im sorry but division is a human trait.

Gay Pride events are best for realizing all the different kinds of homos out there. Leather dads, club, family gays, lipstick lesbians, butch lesbians.I have an HRC sticker on my car, I LOVE pointing out the HRC sticker it does make me happy.
