The steppers are Keling NEMA23's, KL23H286-20-8B, which draw 2 amps, meaning I had to add a second 1 ohm resistor in parallel, on the bottom, but otherwise the drive worked perfectly. I really like the V2 driver boards you sent: I built one up last night and it's driving the Z axis now. The improvements from the V1 make it more convenient. The mill's stock with the stock Sherline CNC motor mounts.

What motors are those? Are they from a conversion kit or did you do the mounting and mechanical conversion yourself?
