I totally agree with you. But it seems like most of us go to work at a job we hate, deal with things and people that make us unhappy. I for one am lost and I don't know where I am going. I don't have any parents to guide me, although I am well past the age of needing them to guide me. So I just go to work and try to hang onto what I have. I want a real change.
I believe that our intention and purposes are most important. How we feel about our job is just our own personal beliefs and perceptions - which could be caused by many factors on several occasions. My belief is that if I set a clear goal and focus on doing my best, two things will happen. Either my attitudes change or I will soon get out of the unpleasant job and get the one I like.
I want to radically change my life. I am grateful for having a big house and a nice car, especially since I came from the ghetto and never had anything. My parents died and didn't have anything to leave me or my siblings. We had to make it on our own. I sometimes feel ungrateful because of having so much but wanting a lot more. I don't have a career where I feel fulfilled. I feel so empty inside. I want to feel like Mr. Robbins and what he talks about.
I bought his first book. He is an amazing motivator. I would love to go to one of his seminars. I love this man and you are right, he is a gift to the world. I just wish he would have been around when I was a teenager. I would have gotten a lot further in life.

we are...our own worst enemy....or we can be our own best friend...
....it is up to what we decide to do, have, experience, and become....

We fear rejection, want attention, crave affection and dream of perfection.
