I love this guy. So much passion. I hope he has some people following his steps. Egypt will need more than one person to replace this guy if he stops working... when he is 95 years old.
Amazing. Thank you for uploading this video, I love it. Dr. Hawass knows how to attract his audience and I believe that thanks to him even more discoveries are to be made! Very Good Mr. Hawass, go on!
Zahi needs to tell the truth about some things. Like how the huge stones were moved. The great pyramid has 2,300,000 stones and is believed to have been built in 20 years. At 7 days a week, 10 hours a day would have required one stone to be laid every 2 minutes. Some stones up to 40 tons. Not to mention the fact that red granite, which was used on portions of the inside of the pyramid is one of the hardest stones on earth. PLUS, IT WAS NOT A TOMB, ZAHI!!!!!
actually only the three slabs on the kings chamber weight over 40 tones,. In much later time egiptian would lear to move monolites up to 800 tones, and there are ilustrations of how they do it.
The secret of the Khufu piramis, is... work managment. Khufu father made three piramids. Two had to be abandoned because the were bad designed.
They learn the hard way. you do not need to invent an mistery, for something it is already great.
ancient egypt is my favorite! i mean super favorite! chapter in school very interesting! right now i want to be a historian! This world is amazing man wonders secret hand-made dams built long time ago. oh ya i saw a brick hand-made dam that is rusty and bricks broken off maybe history!
