@09SMHS AP sensors. There's one on the manifold behind the butterflies (MAP-Manifold Absolute Pressure), and one on the ECU. The ECU one measures the atmospheric pressure where the car is (varies with temp/humidity/elevation) and the manifold one tells the ECU the manifold pressure (or vacuum) There's sometimes also a temp sensor. The ECU uses that to determine the amount of fuel needed.
