  • I think the english one sounds just a little bit sillier.

  • @AnimeKait

    No shit...

  • i really like this one better than the English one

  • It's Adrian Andrews and her duo of dedicated albino backup rappers!

  • 1:16 :Other rapper:

    *cough*

    *erk*

    -low voice- SUKINANDA.

    -squeaky voice- ~sukinanda!~

    Hahaha xD

  • @dynamo50 *honto

  • It sucks that the english version of this sucks ass.

  • Almost looks like Cynthia (Pokemon DP)

  • My god this looks really hard. o.O

  • Why is p2 always derpy?

  • I prefer ''Rap 2'' xD

  • at 0:54 it soynds like hunt her and they say die sunkie mmmmmmmmmmmm...........

  • @nintendo3dskid2237 it sounds

  • Majidaisuki means "seriously love you"

Maji is seriously, daisuki is love

  • @LazurBeemz Even more specifically, seeing as it's in Katakana, it's basically just the word "Much".

  • run suki run!

  • i think suki is gonna die

  • Into you~ Into you!

  • Gisuki!

  • Honestly, I'm a little worried about how this song specifically will turn out when the English version comes out. That said, I am very excited for this game

  • INTO YOU!!!!!

  • Okay, this was completely changed.

    Daisuki -> Into you

Maji Daisuki -> Crazy into you

    Not joking.

  • @Groudonmaster687 Same amount of of syllables. It works.

  • @AzureTranquility They could have picked something else. ANYTHING else.

  • @Groudonmaster687 Try looking up the Iwata Asks for this game. They explain that "Into You" was all that could flow with the music.

  • @AzureTranquility That's where I come from. I have to say, the Rhythm Heaven series are my favorite games ever, and I know I'll get used to this change...but I still don't think it flows as well as daisuki.

  • @Groudonmaster687 Honto -> Fo' sho'

  • Reminds me of "The World Ends With You''.

  • Can anyone translate? I'm curious as to what they are saying.

  • @obscurethought dont worry the games coming out soon in english ^^

  • all they say is daysuki >:O

  • @elocin1964 Yes, because they don't say "honto" "tsukinanta" "majiti tsuke" or "machdaisuke" ever during the entire video. Also, it's spelled daisuke, just sayin'.

  • @AtomicSunday ok btw i think they said fk after awhile XD

  • @AtomicSunday "majiti tsuke"?

The kana says "Ki" at the end and "Ti" Is not even possible in kana at all.

    Daisuki is I love you

    Honto is Really

    Machidaisuki I cant really remember

    Sukinanda is Really love you

Makes sure you know what you're talking about

  • @Uhiwaka82

You're comenting on this post NOW? 2 weeks AFTER I made the post?

I never claimed I knew how to spell the words, I said they said more then just one word. Don't make assumptions, kthx. =|

  • @Uhiwaka82

Ti can be written as ティ. Just saying.

  • @Uhiwaka82 OOHHH so thats what they say =3 *nods*

  • @Uhiwaka82 now for the one for word translation!!

Daisuki: really like (or better translated as i like you alot)

    Honto: really!

Majidaisuki: really really like (lets go with love with this one, though literally it's really big like)

Sukinanda: suki really means "like" as from the previous lines, this is slightly more informal and with "feeling" with the "n" form (nan in this case and da is just the ender of the phrase, formal version would be desu)

  • who was it who constantly slated this game before it's release over on GoNintendo?

  • She's kinda hot.

  • @Zerothemaster1 I'd say cute, but same. haha

  • If i import this game, will it work on my Wii?

    My Wii is american.

  • @sinorsaint I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly positive that it will...either way you'll be able to play it since it's supposed to come to the rest of the world.

  • @64supermarioreturns I think the system is region locked. So i'd have to buy a Japanese Wii to get it to work. How annoying...

  • @sinorsaint Nintendo is notorious for region-locking their systems so I seriously doubt it.

  • What are you even doing with the controller at this point?

  • @Guruc13 Just hittin' the A button after So'RA completes her phrase.

  • So whats the story and motive?

  • @giratina901 Story and motive, in a game full of rhythm-based mini-games?

    Ohohoho.

  • @PokeNaruBleach no like you cant just expect a girl on a car rapping with two men

    oh i see your point

  • if you look at the picture frames on the wall @ 1:42, you can see the rap men from the original game :)

  • Apparently, she really likes something.

  • Great quality, even on 360p! o:

  • Sorry but I laughed at 0:42 XD

    Maji Daisuki

(Low pitch voice) "MAJI DAISUKI" *Repeats*

  • The girl is Curly Brace in leather pants.

  • @M30W3R took my words man

  • @satsugekibukouken Curly Brace wearing leather pants during her past life as a popular j-rap singer.

    Now it's canon.

Or probably that's what she's been doing after CS and Balrog is just hiding in the car making it jump up and down, whichever works.

  • Can someone explain this minigame to me?

  • @Paikerchu13 Its a song about love, I think they're both trying to prove their love for her or something like that.

  • @kekon3

    I meant the controls.

  • @Paikerchu13 All you gotta do is press A in time after she completes her part.

  • Daisuki=like a lot

  • The strange thing is... I understand most of this.

  • die zuky.do you know what that means?sounds like die ZUKY.DIE ZUKY .DIE ZUKY.

  • @tototony180

Daisuki. But it sounds like Die Sukie. You are the first person I've seen say Die Zuky.

  • This marks the very first time I noticed the car lights flashing on perfect timing.

  • iz some 1 fucking inthe car LOL XD

  • DIE SUKYY DIIIEE SUKYY >.>

  • Comment removed

  • The mistakes are pretty funny XD

  • DIE SNOOKIE???????? MUCH DIE SNOOKIE??????????

  • DIE SU KIE

  • DAISUKI!!!

  • wtf

  • This was pretty damn hard to get used to. But so very awesome.

  • What does ''honto'' and ''sup kiranda'' means :D

  • At 1:43 there are two photos of the characters from ラップメン (rap men) from the GBA version of Rhythm Tengoku on the wall

  • Poor Suki she gon die

  • Lol, it's like the world's most shallow love song. It makes Justin Beiber sound like Bach.

  • im alot more interested in this game now

  • Awexsome owo

I wish they will give you the option to set the voices to japanese, It would be awsm if the english dub would suck owo

  • can't stop hearing this :)

  • nice car O_O I see alota cars with teeth

  • I don't get it.

  • sounds like die suki in russian it would mean die bitches

  • This looks really hard o_O

  • I love this song so much!

  • This is just awesome

  • These monkey have pictures of the Rap Men in their home, along with the Rhythm Heaven dog, or a rounder version of him.

  • pause at the end with the tv screen. the monkeys(?) from 1-4 are there. The dog is also there & rappers red and yellow (gba) are on pictures.

  • @Grinditall i noticed them too, also the monkeys are actualy the goffers from the "ball date" game.

  • my fav stage! :D

  • I like how many references there are to the first game! (Rhythm Tengoku for GBA)

The red and yellow hats definitely remind me of this game: /watch?v=WHdNBmLen7c

Oh yeah, thanks for uploading these!

  • This sounds really cool.

And then I was haunted by how this was going to be dubbed.

  • @ChaosUnown Yeah it's going to be dubbed into English for an English speaking audience. What about that haunts you?

  • @WiiFolderJosh I'm sorry. It's just not all of the english dubs in the DS version sat right with me is all. I just hope they dub it well because this minigame looks like it would be an instant favorite for me.

  • @ChaosUnown i agree i love how this sounds and i cant help but feel the english 1 would kinda ruin it

  • @WiiFolderJosh How terribly Nintendo has dubbed some of the previous songs in Rhythm Heaven. Like Fan Club and The Dazzles.

  • @Chradnev What about Struck by the Rain and That's Paradise? Those were awesome dubs.

  • @sfried Frog Hop was another good one.

The problem is just that when they screw up a dub, they REALLY screw it up.

  • @WiiFolderJosh

because english dubs are still 10 years behind in quality

compared to other countries at least.

the voice acting world is still horribly closed off and elitist in North America/Europe

  • @jeppslol Well first of all it wouldn't be voice acting, it would be singers. As for voice actors literally the biggest and best in voice acting comes out of America. Billy West, Tom Kenny, Hank Azaria, Dan Castellaneta, Joe Alaskey... the list is enormous and insanely talented and knowledgeable in the art of VO.

  • @WiiFolderJosh but honestly, I played Rhythm Heaven DS, I know for the japanese version, nintendo found some really nice singers to provide the voice. But the US version sounds like they just randomly picked up some people from the street...

  • @WiiFolderJosh I don't know why everyone is so worked up about the dubbing the last game sounded fine to me...

  • @WiiFolderJosh Josh, sir, I think I love you right now. Thank you. I encounter WAY too many people who have their noses so far in the air when it comes to English dubbing. Personally, I think the "elitist" one here, is the one who automatically assumes that just because it's in English means that it will be dubbed terribly.

Again, thank you..I just wish there were more people who could appreciate the effort and talent that goes into voice over.

  • Comment removed

  • @SuriOokami A lot of it is the fact that sometimes Japanese/other languages just sound better saying certain lines, so that no matter how well they acted it in English, people will feel more aesthetically attracted to the Japanese version. Personally I'm hoping with all the time they're spending on RHF that it will be at least as good as the DS version. That's pretty reasonable I think.

  • @SuriOokami

If only i had EVER heard a voiceover that had been done with anyone with talent or that had any effort put into it. Sad truth is that voiceovers with either of those things in them are as rare as teeth of a chicken.

  • @Herraivo They are not rare if you actually look.

  • @SuriOokami

Yes, because after hundreds of gringeworthy voiceovers and zero I could bare to listen for more than a minute over multiple years bodes well.

Voiceovers are universally shit, end of story. Snap out of your delusions.

  • @Herraivo Oh really? I could understand this opinion if it were say, 10 years ago, but modern dubbing is usually pretty good. Not to mention, English cartoons and games fall under the category of voice over work as well, just to let you know in case you ever feel like complaining that Spongebob or My Little Pony has crappy voices, or something ridiculous like that. So in your world, you automatically know that /everything/ is shit before even listening? That's not delusional at all...

  • @Herraivo And by 'even listening', I mean 'to everything'. The character limit for youtube is way too short. At any rate, if you're so sure ALL voice over work is shit, I'd like to ask a huge favor. I dub on youtube, and while most of it is singing, there's some VO as well. You're allowed to think it's shit if you think it's shit, but I would really like your opinion/critique on them. Would you do me the honor?

  • @Herraivo ...I was going to leave it at that, but speaking of 'delusions', if I'm so delusional I must be REALLY insane to be imagining those 26 people who apparently agree with me as well.

  • @SuriOokami

All of them defending their shitty jobs in the industry, no doubt. Just like you, I'd wager.

  • @Herraivo Now you're just trying to get a rise out of me. Are you going to do what I asked, or should I just ignore you?

  • @SuriOokami

I might have. One really should not post late at night, Sorry about that.

You can sing, I'll give you that. Maybe part from our argument came from the fact that when I think about dubs, songs aren't the first thing that springs to my mind.

I still prefer the originals of bad apple and fluttershys song, for example, but you come close enough that the decisive factor might actually be that I heard the orignal versions first. As for the dubs from materials I have not...

  • @SuriOokami

...seen before, like the sailor moon footage, it certainly sounds better than most dubs, but still feels inferior to the original I dug up; slightly out of place, the feel that there's too much trying and the emotion does not convey to the viewer in the same way as in the original, a problem that is usually the definign factor on how bad a dub is.

Your dubs are better than most I've heard, but I'd still call them only adequate at best. Your songs are good, however.

  • @Herraivo Thank you so much for taking the time to go through and critique my stuff! I really appreciate it! Yeah, the thing about the Sailor Moon one was that it was meant to imitate the DiC dub, and even though I have giant nostalgia goggles, I must admit that the Sailor Moon dub was...pretty bad. I tried my best, at the very least, and my intention was to make (at least Uranus) sound a little better than the dub version.;;

  • @Herraivo I still hope to become a voice actress, and I admit there's a lot I can improve upon. I really want to change people's perceptions on dubbed shows and games; that's probably my first goal. Sorry if I seemed confrontational, it's just something I feel strongly about. Again, thank you very VERY much for taking the time to do this, you actually helped a lot. I'll try my best to improve, and I hope any voice work you come across in the future don't make you cringe quite as much!

  • @WiiFolderJosh The point he's trying to make is that whatever company will bring this to America won't have money to hire good voice actors/singer so it's not going to sound that good

  • @WiiFolderJosh I think the big problem is that last time a rhythm heaven game got dubbed the quality was... mixed

  • @WiiFolderJosh

There are plenty of good VAs in America, but video games often suffer incredibly horrible dubs regardless - game companies can't or won't shell out for actual voice talent and quality writing. There are exceptions, but it could always be a disaster.

  • @jeppslol

    he aint lying

  • @jeppslol Voice acting isn't the problem. It's the ho-hum lyrics that they'll come up with.

  • @ChaosUnown You seem to have to impression that this doesn't sound unbelievably silly in the original Japanese.

Let me tell you, your impression is wrong.

  • The girl's glasses remind me of the one of the glasses in the mii creator on the mii channel...

  • This game probably gave me the most trouble of all of them. I'm going to bet that once I get the instructions in English it'll go a bit better.

  • @thisisntagoodname All you have to do is press A the moment she finishes speaking. Once you get the rhythm down its easy.

  • how dose the control works in this level

  • Whats Sukenanda?

  • Die snookie 0:36

    Much died snookie 0:49

    0:59 Kontra

Parappa would be so prowd :,)

  • USOPP :D

  • @Artimicus ..They do have his lips!

  • This reminds me so much of Parappa the Rapper ;D

  • Dose lips.

  • Is that Wario's car where the girl is sitting?

  • This is going to become a meme someday...

  • i am not going to lie that girl is kinda hot

  • @TheOkami2011 Go to your room.

  • @WiiFolderJosh lol no you are not my real dad! :p

  • @WiiFolderJosh no. cuz i was thinking the same thing.

  • @WiiFolderJosh Ehhhh... he has a point.

  • @WiiFolderJosh *snort* XD

  • @23WhiteFox Balls. Thanks for that! I wasn't entirely sure why there was a mix of both kanas in there. Then again, I do watch a ton of anime, sometimes it is misleading when they use だいスキ to mean 'I love you'.

  • @shinx12345 You'll see words using katakana quite often in Japan. The main reason for it is emphasis.

Also, technically, you're right when referring "daisuki" as "love". Literal translations include "loveable" and "very likeable". "Aishiteru" wouldn't really be a term to use if you plan to make a move on someone, if you will. It's an extremely strong term, so don't use it if you just met someone, say, 3 weeks ago.

  • @the8bitgamer Ok, thanks for all your help guys!

  • how does this control? Is there a button for each phrase, or is it only the timing that matters?

  • @JKRgamer i know right, maybe you say the lines into your wii speak, that would be cool

  • This game was pretty tough. The timing is very strict.

  • I love you really I seriously love you.

  • You do know this game is on the DS right?

  • @SoftMii1 -_-

  • @SoftMii1 I can't tell if you're trolling or just very slow.

  • @SoftMii1 But, it was first on the GBA in Japan.

  • @GalekC I know, but its was released in the US

  • do want.

  • I can't be the only on confused o.0

  • this is the best one so far :-P

  • daisukeーだいスキーI love you

    majudaisukeーマジだいスキーI seriously love you

    hontoーホントーreally

  • @shinx12345 Thanks, I was curious what they were saying. :)

  • @WiiFolderJosh It's no problem, it's good practice! ^^

  • @WiiFolderJosh how exactly would play this game?

  • @shinx12345 what does she say at 1:04?

  • @shinx12345 and 1:25?

  • @NintendmanMidget I think it means something similar really, but you'll have to ask someone more in the know, I'm still a beginner

  • @shinx12345

    can u translate whole

  • @gizelbelcoot huh? I'm sorry, did you mean the word whole or the whole thing?

  • @shinx12345

i mean there are other japanese words uttered by them sakianga something??Translation of those.

  • @gizelbelcoot スキなんだーI like you

I think that's it, but I am not too sure.

  • @shinx12345 Where did you find this? ...

it's "daisuki", not "daisuke", and it means to love something really much ("dai" means big, "suki" means to love). There's no mention of "you" or "I".

the second one is "majidaisuki", not "majudaisuke", and it means to seriously love something. again, SOMETHING. probably the situation, or how one's life turned out to be at the moment.

and "honto" means truth. at least you got the spelling right.
