  • you guys can dislike the bike all you guys want but really show some respect this really is a cool bike although...although the sound of a gas bike does sound much nicer

  • I get nervous from engine-sound

  • this bike runs like what two sec then u have to plug it back in this bike is gay

  • I like the music! What is it?

  • is not the same! where is the NOISE!

  • and how many times have the batteries recharged for the video?

  • at what point did he think I'm about to put my helmet on, better put on a hat to drink this espresso?

  • It is verry good :) Price ?

  • this makes me sick

  • @TRITTYcat Your channel makes me sick!

  • @ne14mxx i couldnt give a fuck

  • Un truck de fou ces ktm electrique,sa doit marcher ;-)

  • The battery only lasts around an hour so racing is the only place it belongs at this time. Still cool

  • I agree I'm not ready to give up on running my bike on dead dinosaurs but this bike would be kinda cool, less bitchin about noise, non stop torque through the throttle, except it probably costs 2x/3x a typical bike

  • 5 bucks a gallon for gas...orrrrrrr a nother 60 bucks added to your power bill each month...

  • @REDNECKCABLETV 60 bucks is not accurate at all, the cost of gas monthly would be closer to $60 than electricity. About $0.11 per kwh in the US, charging the bike probably uses a fraction of a kw

  • @KillerWalrus2845 but it takes all night to charge but only like 10 seconds to fill up a tank of gas, and you can fill up anywhere, there not plugs on every street corner is there?

  • @REDNECKCABLETV 1.5hours=all night? Short nights where you live. You CAN'T fill up everywhere...this is a dirtbike you know, not a street bike, no gas stations in the forest. But yes, there are plugs on about every road corner and in between the corners too, since every building has outlets, the battery can be changed too. I never said "this bike is the ultimate gas motorcycle replacement", I was just saying that statement was incorrect, this one was too.

  • @KillerWalrus2845 yea but if you run out of batterie you cant just bring a can of batterie to the woods were your bike is its kinda stupid whats the point of this anyway?

  • but what if you ride at camp... where you dont have electricity? or if you go on a ride more than a few hundread km's :S shitson gas is awesome.....

  • Im going to miss gasoline so much when we run out :(

  • shame electric bikes arent affordable yet

  • not a race bike by any means....but to enduro around the back yard and neighborhood, hells ya!!

  • The bike that all my neighbourhood wishes I bought...nah, I´ll stick with my 300 2stroke

  • Ill think ill stick to my crf450 thanks.

  • I'd rather a 690 rally..

  • a southern pregnant black lady would run faster than these bikes

  • I would say that somebody is playing with RC bikes !!!

not like it at all !!

  • electric???it's not for me i'm sorry...

  • what do wi call them then 20 whatt stroke?

  • 2 strokes will never die

  • add a weedwacker motor attached to an alternator or something so it wont strand someones ass in the middle of the woods!

  • Where do i sign??

  • if it dont take gas you aint hauling ass.

  • @Spherimorphine *if you aint mixin gas you ain't haulin ass

  • mute this and play skrillex remix of going in for the kill

  • at full power and full gas it says on the ktm website that it has about 25 hp.

  • Nice garage :)

  • how much power, like a 2t 125cc???

  • As soon as they get a bit more power out of it, and a bit bigger action radius I'm getting one! Maybe in the future we get 'electrical vehicle trails' in the woods... :D

  • Only 1.5 riding time and 70km/h... it just ain't enough for now!

  • Dude, It's sounds like a fu**ing RC!

  • That sounds sooo wrong!!!

  • PascalR95

    motocross u retard

  • @PascalR95

    moto cross u retard

  • Put volume off and start Skrillex ft. Krewella - Breathe instead ;)

  • for how long does the batery hold ?

  • Dear santa!

  • Turn of the music i wanna hear the bike! oh wait...

  • Kmt give me one for the experimental testings i will do it even if i have to pay!!!!!!!

  • Love it, Want it, Need it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • c'eest tu electrique ?6

  • I wonder how much it weighs?

  • @xIAMDAVEx the ktm freeride e weights 90kg

  • @xIAMDAVEx 99 kilos

  • sounds like RC cars...

  • Awesome. Sneaky ninja riding is the new loud revving. Regular maintenance includes washing it clean and plugging it in for a charge - I'm in!

  • I -3 the glitch mob. Does anyone know if they are running brushed or brushless motors in these?

  • @abracing199 Brushless. There is a good article available in CycleNews online, check it out. (It's not letting me post the URL.)

  • sounds like my nikko (radio-controlled car) :D

  • miss the sound!!!!

  • how much?

  • Lindo, lindo, lindo...

  • When can I buy one?

  • Geiles Video - von wem ist die Musik?

  • Comment removed

  • no Bikesound no fun !.......

  • i would love to see Roczen riding that

  • Interesting, but I think that's not a "real" KTM without his nice exhaust sound.

  • anyone know how much itll cost

  • Suenan como un RC!!! con los que jugaba de pequeño...

  • no hay nada como el sonido de un 2t :)...

  • @TimArmst It's about same weight as any size regular mx. It's true that the range at this point isn't much but it lasts trough one range after which you can change the battery when you normally would would refuel. It also makes possible that in future mx can br brought closer to cities and population, like in this video

  • Human suited Gig Nikko.... amazing

  • I like the music~~

  • Very cool. Until idiots start running over schoolchildren who don't get out of the way because they can't hear the bike coming. Which is like, day two of sales in the USA.

  • fucking peas of shit

  • I love my dirt bike and my downhill mountain bike.... now I can now have both rolled into one... and not need to travel as far to enjoy it :)

Price needs to come down a bit and longer battery life... but its looking like one is in my near future

  • Revenge of the petrol heads

  • Look heavy...

  • @TimArmst It's not, only 95kg

  • @Antipico So the same weight as a regular 450cc motoX with half the power. That makes it heavy.

Also, the stats for range aren't inspiring, "20 min professional, 45 min amateur"

  • those look sick and better for the environment

  • Is that a BMX track they are riding on?

  • in the end...you will have "Noise" update, if you want to :D

    KTM you are awesome!

  • 2 people have a car

  • only petrol

  • I don't only love it, I NEED IT!!!!

  • @vnclab me too!!!

  • looks like fun... kudo's to ktm for making sutch great things!!

  • Name of the song if anyone wants to know: "The Glitch Mob - We Swarm"

  • @syco666wiz actually it sucks

  • i have to laugh over the guys always yelling here because of the noise, but never tried it. Try it, then talk! Every word of u guys before the test will be absolutely needless. especially because im sure most of u guys are not able to take this thing close to the max on a racetrack! theres much more power than u think! im part of an e-bike promo team and believe me. the sound u guys miss, is perfect. so cool thing to get into a battle on track and u could talk to ur battle"partner" ^^

  • @Daacool and now no u dont know real mx answers please. i race mx for 21 years now. actually on a 450 too

  • FUCK!!! a RC car mades a better noise than this!!!

  • Imádom ,mint a csótány,romok között,városban,csatornákban,csendben :) Kellene ,de csak másodiknak a 350es benzines mellé:)meg ha lenne rá... :)

  • smh. this is cool and all. but. whats the point. if you dont feel it when you twist the throttle and and hear the roar from the pipe. and the smell. like. its a heart without the blood. /:

  • It sounds like a puppy Raptor!!!

  • ELECTRIC MOTORBIKE!!

Does anybody know if the bike have clutch??

-> Is ILEGAL drive it out of road because is a self-propelled vehicle The electical bicycles are legal just because the engine does not work if you are not pedaling, it is only a "little" help

    MOTO ELECTRICA!!

Alguien sabe si la moto tiene embrague??? -> No es legal conducirla fuera de la carretera porque es un vehiculo autopropulsado La bicis electricas son legales porque el motor no funciona sino pedaleas, es una ayudita

  • I get in trouble for bmx in my town now... I can just see how this would go down!

  • is it electrical??

  • @VanB13 duh...

  • Cool video mate i watched this al several times

  • it´s a thing that´s i´m not understand . is it legal to drive this in population? without registration?

  • 2:26 is that the sound of a combustion engine powered generator for the filming of this video?

  • haha thats what im talking about! :D

  • where's the engine? the sound is stolen-.-

  • EL FIN DEL MUNDO SE ACERCA HIJOS DE PUTA HOY SI, MOTOS SIN GASOLINA, TU MADRE...

The Glitch Mob - We Swarm

  • @TheJulsC Thanks!!

  • very well done !

  • So cool ! And it sounds fantastic !

Freeride, perfect name for this motorbike, you really must feel free without the usual noise of dirt bike.

Riding this machines must be like a dream, focusing one eveything without the disturbing noise of the exhaust pipe.

  • @zikzakfr usual NOISE of a dirt bike? It's music to my ears!

  • Охуенно!

  • fucking cool. BUT, it's the sound u want :/

  • Sweetness

  • i want the BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP !!

  • 1:48 Gay moment. Nice video though =)

  • et pas d'autonomie et un prix fou ...

  • pas de vitesse , pas de bruit ... moins de plaisir ...

  • électrique baddd!!! ^^

  • OMFG! I´ve been waiting for this Video for two Years!!! KTM I love you.

  • I wonder how the maintenance of this motor compares to the internal combustion ones. Anyway, as soon as the batteries are good enough to keep the bike going for roughly as long as one could go on a full tank, and take very little time to recharge- forget about internal combustion...

  • @KulautuvosMX One of the great advantages of an electrical motor is that there is very little moving parts that wear down and no fluids such as lubrication needed for it to work(some greased up ballbearing at most). If the engine is efficient enough you probably wont need any systems to cool it, except maby a fan driven by the engine itself, almost eliminating the risk of overheating. If it's built so that water an dirt wont get to the electronics you could say that it's free of maintanance.

  • @markus155 That sounds great. I'm sure they will figure out a way to make it less reliable though :). What's the purpose of making a motorcycle which makes the company no money after it's sold (unlike the current four stroke internal combustion engine equipped bikes) :) ?

  • @KulautuvosMX Yeah, probably by making it stonger and at the same time lighter. I believe that the greed of the oil industry has held back the development of the electrical engine for to long. Because of environment-issues an gasprices people are looking for alternatives and KTM probably realised that it's better to lead than to follow when it comes to technology. And in the long run they will probably profit greatly from this move.

  • Comment removed

  • @Daacool Yeah, you are right. Sorry for not knowing my facts straight:D Well, at least they are not falling behind if the electrical engine came to dominate the market with time.

  • @markus155 i see it the same way. especially because i know what this bkes can do :) did u watch our team bike video? i think it shows really good what e-bikes could do.

  • @Daacool Yeah, the future will be an interesting place to go it seems:D

  • @markus155 I like KTM. Besides the fact they they are just friggin cool AND have the best color :D, they also make these clever decisions from time to time. Look at what they are doing with two strokes (they are less profitable than four strokes), compared to other manufacturers. Not to mention that they have very strong factory teams in motocross and all kinds of enduro/offroad racing. Pretty much KTM is on a path to world domination :).

  • @markus155 search for team future mx here on youtube. seems like u guys never heard about quantya. i race normaly a 450 but for 4 years im doing also e-bike races here in germany. they are already really strong and hey theire power last longer than mine ^^. 30 min of pinning the throttle and the batteries are still not empty! well its definately slower than normal mx, but i dont care. we build a tecnical track with many corners and rythm sections and its perfect for mx training and a lot of fun!

  • How fast do they go ;o?

Must have a damn clutch with gears...

  • does this have a clutch?

  • @Maxwas93 No since electricity doesn't need to switch gears.... ALTHOUGH, it would be nice to have something that could store the power for more wheel-spin out of corners, and there was a lever on the left; so they might have something similar.

  • Why electrical? Someone please explain...

  • @Xaikar Seriously why electrical? Google depleting oil reserves and then google price of petrol

  • @09bikerman1 I can see the point in electrical transportation and all that, but this is just silly. Motocross is not the same with electrical engines.

  • @Xaikar ...Then I'm not sure you really get electrical transport, it's not meant to be an alternative its meant to be a replacement.

  • @09bikerman1 I see transportation and joy/competition-riding as two separate things. I don't think the pollution is solved by replacing the motocross bikes. I'd go with replacing the cars we use to transport ourselves around with. Not the ones we compete with.

  • @Xaikar This is the first ever electric motocross. And by looking at it's performance it seems almost ready to compete with internal combustion engines, which is an old and perfected technology. And if this technology evolves as fast as any other new technology these days it will probably outperform the competition bikes of the day soon enough. To bad it sound like shit tough!

  • @markus155 again its not the first e-cross!!! check one of our team videos. search for Quantya Team Bike . And i repeat e-bikes at this level are not realy new. well now this one is now the top of the e-bikes because of the better suspension and frame and quality but Quantya already made really good bikes for 4 years!!!

  • @Xaikar Firstly, the price of petrol is never going to drop again, not by any meaningful amount anyway, so as the price of running a petrol vehicle increases electric is going to become far more attractice & more common (although I don't believe it is the future of powered transportation but I won't go into that here).

Also, unlike a petrol vehicle which has a certain rev range it delivers peak power at, electric vehicles deliver their peak power all the time.

  • ラジコンみたいですね

  • what is the name of that awesome song seriously

  • @TouchOfAimar when you find out please post it here...

  • quero quero quero quero!!!!

  • existenz

  • sooooo cool i like it sooooooo much!!!

  • olny problem, the sound... i like when the 4-stroke engine roars!

  • Nice job guys! Asia will never catch up. Please send a street legal versions to the U S.

  • the drive Julien Dupon is very hot and the bike is very cool

  • what model is this?

  • Awesome sound at start of video

  • Where is BRAAP ? sounds like toy rc model, ktm suck now, good night

  • haha this will never kick off biofuels is the future and petrol

  • @lincoln112233 Biofuels? Another brainwashed idiot...

  • @Indy7272 clearly you are brainwashed do you really think oil companies are gonna back down no they earn too much money plus they have the goverment wrapped round there fingers and the goverment likes it because they can make millions of bio oil and bio fuels and shale oil

  • @lincoln112233 U misunderstood me. He said biofuels are the future, solution for vehicles, while it is clearly a dead end kept alive only for profit of certain companies.

  • @Indy7272 so then lets hear what you think will be the future of fuels then i can tell you now it wont be electrification of vehicles and motorbikes
