1.go to options

2.go to controls

3.click advanced controls

4.check enable console

5.press ok

6.press the '/~ key to open it

@kolack100 open your steam window and go to library. then right-click your TF2 and click on properties. A window should open , now click on " Set launch options...".

Now type "-console" in it and the console should be opened when you start the game.

works with every valve game i think.

They could ban you for using outside programs and exploits, not for their own failure. Plus Valve is pretty understanding when it comes to things like this.
