Sorry dude. But you might want to consider playing a older Elder Scrolls game called Morrowind, that will run on max settings. The game play and atmosphere is 10x better.

You can still find it in Game shops. It's a big brown case with 4 CD's inside. (Game of the year edition!)

Everything is good for Oblivion apart from the Integrated Intel HD graphic card. That will cause significant lag unless you turn the settings right down, it might still lag badly.

obviously ur cpu is 300mhz slower but it might not be that that cpu and 8200m has overheating problems they both can be overclocked slightly though i have oveclocked it to 2.25 ghz

my laptop can run this on high, it plays fine on very high a little slow down but it stops and crashes for some strange reason

can't because the sims3 requires a 2.2GHz processer for windows xp and the atom only has a 1.6Ghz. you can probaly play the sims 3 but all on low settings.

bigwookie2 i have a question for you. does your 8200m have dedicated memory?

i ask this because i plan on getting a compaq cq60-404ca. it also has a 8200m processor, but is running as a discrete video processor. meaning it does not run off it's own dedicated board, but off the motherboard. so memory will be shared with the system memory (ram).

256MB is dedicated VRAM, while the remaining of the 1.4GB is shared. Which is basically useless. If you can get a laptop with a better card you'd be much happier.

get the new nvidia forceware drivers and the performance pack. which includes an update service, overclocking capabilities and a temp monitor.

I wouldn't recommend overclocking a laptop though. i did it for curiosities sake and i had stability issues while playing oblivion.

3GB SDRAM @ 800mhz, overclocked to 820mhz (lol?))

Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit With Aero on and all effects up.
