i think this is one of those movies where the love scenes actually did add a lot to the story. tang wei especially expressed a lot of her emotions through those scenes. i could tell when she was manipulating him and when she eventually fell in love with him in one of the later love scenes. it was beautiful.

I really like the abrupt ending of this mv, very interesting! It reminds me more of the feeling of the original book of Eileen Chang, absolute not a love story but more of a sad, cruel, perhaps an action story. Not that I dont like An lees lust and caution though. Just they are very different.
