  • Thanks for the video. I will be in possession of one of these fine rifles soon. 300 win mag. Can't wait to "roll my own" for it!

  • @thevansmack....you're and idiot

  • loading those premium Nosler bullets with that crappy Lee press is like putting Turbo Blue in your Chevette.......you'll never be able to realize it's/their true potential.

  • @josephgarza07 I've never used 4381, i was trying to get it, but it was out of stock and it had a wait list for it.

if you want more updated reloading formulas you can always go onto the powder websites hodgdon.com

they have hodgdon imr and winchester loadings.

its always best to start out and the lowest load available and work your way up to where you can achieve the most accuracy out of the load w/o cause excessive pressure to your case :)

  • Have you tried H4381? In the Nosler Reloading guide it used H1000 for the 220grain. I am new to reloading and am trying to stay by the book lol.

  • I save alot of money reloading also- more accurate than factory loads by far and cheaper, take an exspensive box of ammo, than check the C.O.A.L of all 20rds. its sad that you might find 3 the same. when you go to the range to sight in and the groups are 1 to 2 moa! lol... i reload the same high dollar rounds at half the cost if not less and punch bullet on bullet holes. factory ammo cant keep up!

  • How much would you say it costs you to make one cartridge? I see you are using a more expensive bullet. How much do you think it would cost to make one cartridge using a regular fmj bullet for target shooting? Thanks

  • If your looking for a cheap but high quality reloading setup then use the L.E. Wilson hand dies and a rubber mallet! I know what your thinking... a MALLET! It does an excellent job and this is what benchrest shooters use so yes, its proven and it will squeeze the most accuracy out of your rifle. I promise! Their about $50.00 and all you need is a neck sizer die and a bullet seater die so $100 and this the best of the best!

  • @quadrider004

depends on what your reloading for.

for my 300 win, its costing me about a $1.25 per round, and thats with barnes tsx.

rather than 2.50 for premium factory rounds.

a very basic setup will set you back around $150.00.

I believe you can get a lee loader for around 30 bucks

  • @alaskanbigsalmon

hey faggot, I dont need to spend over 900 bucks to get right gear,

people spend much less and can get there shit right.

your a dumbass, if your going to spend 900bucks on reloading gear, you should've gotten a dillion.

    GTFO you troll

  • Where is the lube on the cases? LAME JOB!

  • Crappy bench and crappy LEE press. should have bought a Hornady or RCBS....mucho better. I paid over $900 for all the shit I needed to do it properly. $300 isn't even the cost of my scale. Do it cheaply and be sorry when it blows up in your face and it will

  • @alaskanbigsalmon Doing it on the cheap isn't dangerous if you pay attention, it's just slower.

  • I really wanna start reloading considering these factory loads are killing me price wise...its seems fairly simple but what exactly will I need to start out

  • @blackout 690

depends on what kind of reloading system you want.

I personally spent around 300 on just the tools.

you will also have to factor in the powder, primers, bullets, brass.

if you order primers and powder online they will charge you a 20 dollar or so hazmat fee.

I find it cheaper to go to your local sporting goods store.

  • overall length is 3.480

the best groupings i got from them was .075 at 100 yards.

I recently switched over to barnes tsx 180grains.

    col at standard 3.34

im getting .055 at 100 yards.

  • wow, awesome video. I just got a Rem 700 SPS DM in 300WM, and I currently have like 150 empty brass. How much money am I looking at spending to get into reloading like this? (to get all the necessary tools/equipment)?

  • @Blackout690 If you decided to reload you will probably shoot more than otherwise. Therefore, I recommend buying an electronic scale that has a dispenser that you can program for your load. RCBS makes one that is really slick. You will spend alot more than a traditional balance beam scale but not only is it quicker but it is also more accurate. In addition, I would buy Nosler's reloading guide since I think they do a good job expalin the whole relaoding process.

  • what is you COL on that bad boy?

i load 180 accubonds in my 300 win mag at 3.420"

  • you wouldn't be able to put 180 grains of powder into the case.

depending on your bullet and your powder type.

you typical range of powder is anywhere from 60-80 grains.

and 75 grains is alot of powder for a 300win.

the bullet weight is going to be 150-250 grains. not the powder.

  • 75 grains dosent seem like alot dosent 300 win mag usualy have 180 to 200 grains
